    Hi,

I would like to know how many how many anchor links can be allowed to per day? I don't want to do it too aggressively or too slowly. I am using 4 keywords, and anchoring all the keywords, in some sites, i use only my site's link without any anchor text. but I still feeling insecured. Therefore, I am asking the question, how many anchored links can be allowed per day so that I don't fall into link farming trap.

    Regards,
    Ravi Verma

It depends on a million things that you can't control, including where google set the filters today.

Use more variations of your anchor text.

4 links a day can't hurt you. As long as you don't mean 'exactly 4 every day', which would look very unnatural.

Slow and steady wins the race

I like to acquire 3 - 5 backlinks per day, this has worked wonders for me

What niche is that and how competitive the keywords are?
3-5 backlinks a day might takes literally ages to rank high for anything competitive.
Unless of course Nasa, CNN and Reuters link to you... :D

adminravi, if you're building links by hand you can't get enough links to get your site penalized.

    Hi Zexy (Hot name),

You raised a very interested point. So all we do is we decide the per day link building based on the little green indicator on google keyword tools? Well then they have these categories(as u will already know):
    1. low
    2. average
    3. high

Can you give me a per day anchor link building scheme for each?

    Regards,
    Ravi Verma

adminravi, I didn't understand what you mean. The green indicator has nothing to do with link building and SEO.
The little green indicator in the AdWords Keyword Tool shows how many people compete in AdWords for that term.
So what exactly do you want to know?

I am mostly focusing on the "Make Money" Niche, I have several websites, most of which target fairly competitive key words ( I have a few that aren't too competitive)

My link building strategy seems to work equally well on both sides of the spectrum

I recently set up 10 websites on LinkVana and within 6 weeks I managed to get 8 of them to the first page of Google for my targeted keywords

In my opinion, 6 weeks is NOT a long time

If you go all out and start building a ton of links right away, what do you think will happen if you don't continue to keep up that pace?... I'll tell you what will happen... the search engines will think that your site has become UNPOPULAR and it will fall back in the ranks

Lets face it, you might be able to acquire a bunch of links right off the bat and get your site to move up the ranks very quickly, but keeping up that pace is way too daunting a task and your website can fall down the ranks just as fast!

The story of: "The Tortoise and the Hare" comes to mind... and we all know the outcome of that story

I don't do what the Gurus tell me to do... I do what has proven to work for me time and time again!

For example... when there is a NEW product release, I will approach it from a different angle than what everbody else is doing, You see, everybody else is making squid lenses, hubpages, writing articles ,creating videos, submitting to hundreds directories and Blah Blah Blah...

I just set up one solid webpage and plug it into LinkVana and wait... I am the Tortoise and my competitors are the Hare... Sure they move up the ranks faster than me, but they fall off the radar just as quickly, and then all of a sudden my website out ranks them but with one BIG difference... it has staying power!

I would much rather reap the financial for the very long term than to just be a flash-in-the-pan

That's my story and I'm sticking to it!

vstar, I enjoyed reading your post and I'm happy this method works for you :)
10 websites on the first page of Google for their keywords in 6 weeks is not bad at all.
Nothing unseen, but good nonetheless. Out of curiosity I'm going to check the LinkVana site...

Yes, sometimes that happens but not always. In my experience I have sites that rank pretty well from day one and never fall back in the ranks even with very aggressive link building campaigns. I guess it depends on the quality of the site, niche, luck, etc. Not everything is math after all...

yes yes yes adminravi... well a good question... i persoanllly say dont limit your self by asking a limit, do as many as the hell you want to, just mix em up n that, do some here with that anchor, (blogger) some on forums with a different anchor some social book marks with different anchor text, link em to different parts of your site tho, like some point to HP and some to pg2 etc, then look into your paid for links or exchanges...

mix up the key term (anchor tect) use adwords or ya opwn head.
mix up where ur putting em, (blogger, blogpress, etc)
forum post the hell out the web (good luck to ya)
link to different parts of your sites...

mate do as many as you want, i personally dont trust any of these liunk outsource ppl, think they just rape ya for ya money n the links they provide are generally S**T - do it your self...

dont limit to numbers cos they aint gonna get index'd at the same time...

    good luck mate!

    Peacex

Sorry to butt in, but I also have a related question.

If I have been posting in forums and go to each forum all in one day and add my link into my signitures, will that be classed as being too aggressive (i.e. will I be penalised)? My thoughts are that I'll do this then continue to build links by posting in each forum. BTW each forum is relevant and is in my niche.

    :)
