SEO Software? is it worth buying

Is SEO software realy worth the money?
In my own opinion SEO software is a waste of money. i have had a few trials of some and all they do is what using a few free tools does.

Wait for it:O they even submit you to google lol.

But I Suppose they do give you good detail on your websites current SEO rating.

has anyone else used software and if so what software?

 

If you know what type of software you need then yes... 100% useful...

You can get useful information from software such as keyword info although even that can be found within Google's own tools, but if you are using software for submission purposes the stay away from it.

 

What an advise from a child... then do not use page rank checker, alexa, traffic counter, keyword checker, backlink checker... etc.. because all of them are seo software..

I'm a fan of free SEO software - those do 95% work for me. I've an account with WordTracker ... occationally use that.

I think that some information is getting mixed here. I believe people are Pro-SEO tools but anti-automatic submission software.

There is only two software tools that I have found to be useful and easy to use: 1 is Website submitter (it helps you scroll sites while you manual submit) 2 is SEO Suite but that's only because of position finding, keyword building, or to make a long story short.. stuff other than submitting.

 

I swing both ways on manual and software, does that make me a swinger?

SEO tools are still seo software... I think the thread starter is referring to automatic submission tools... and for me they are very effective...

It depends on how you use it... most submission tools have manual features that could help you expedite your submisison activities 4 times faster by doing t manually..
