How to use paypal safely.

    Hi though i am using paypal for quite some time i am not sure of the safety precautions one has to take. Please enlighten me.

    I have the following questions.

    1. If i transfer money to someone will they be able to see my address.
    2. Should one verify his account. What if one doesn't.
    Do share your experiences, were you scammed, how to protect oneself from being scammed.

    verification will save your money! . low fees on varified accounts. and address is not appeared.

    one precaution always take. whenever you access the paypal from any another site. always look at the address bar and check the domain name to avoid phishing.

    for example

    orginal link like :www.paypal.com/.............

    and phished links link : www.paypaal.com/............ or www.paypall.com/......

    I almost got scammed out of 5k when paypal first came out. There ok now.

    They won't be able to see your address unless you specifically put it, but they will know your name.

    Verification is important because it results in a greater degree of trust

    U can send as much as u want from verified paypal account,no limits,also there are some sites which will not allow to use unverified paypal while shopping with them.

    To be honest, just use common sense. The actual transactions through Paypal will be pretty safe. About the biggest thing you have to worry about is paying for something and then not receiving the product/service

    I think the phished domains should be forbidden to register by the law or be under paypal inc too .
