New SPAM sites...billions of results!!!!

Sure,Adsense would pay him money at the end of month,spamming is violation of tos of adsense.

 

Okay, anthonycea, I have read this thread as you suggested.

OMG! I finally made it to the end of this thread after three days of picking away at it. I'm not sure which is more unbelievable, somebody getting billions of pages of spam indexed or a thread with over 800 replies staying mostly on topic and mostly civil.

I don't know what can be added to the discussion that hasn't already been said. I just hope that when Matt gets back from vacation Google starts to seriously work on a way to shut down these spammy sub-domain sites, without hurting legitimate sites in the process.

Matt is no longer on vacation. He has moved to Romania and is churning out spam sites by the billion.

 

It could be a very sticky wicket indeed. I think solving the problem is a lot more complex and requires a lot more processing power then many in this forum realize.

So that's where that undisclosed location everyone keeps going to is.

 

If he were to be here, I would've kidnapped him, and ask a ransom to Google.

 

I don't think Matt Cutts is on vacation at all. I think he's on the lam. As well he should be, now that it's blatantly obvious he lied to us in that "timeline" blog entry.

Let me get my hands on one of those pirate swords of his right now and I'll happily bitch slap him with the flat side of the blade.

I didn't read everything, but I'm still fascinated about this spammer of the year. So he has subdomains & content being created on the fly and google indexed it like nuts.

All those sites from page 1 seem to not be on google anymore, guessing u guys already talked about that within the 41 page post, so disregard

 

He was always such a truthful boy until that pirate thing. I think he went over to the dark side last Halloween.

Does anyone know how long Matt was supposed to be away for? Did he say before leaving? I thought I had read 3 weeks somewhere, but his last post was over a month ago... his vacation started 5 weeks ago. Must be nice, 5 weeks of consecutive vacation??

In America, 5 straight weeks of vacation is unheard of. Especially in Corporate America?! He's either on short-term leave, hiding somewhere, or they canned his @ss.

Isn't this old news already? Is everyone still speculating on whether or not the spammer will get paid from his adsense account. We'll never know, so why should we care.

It was very impressive, no doubt. I followed this thread for the first 200-300 replies or so. But man, why are peeps still so tied up with this?
