Does anyone have an opinion on Dr. Joe Vitales marketing software tool?

    Here is his website: http://www.mrfire.com/

What do you think of this product too?

    http://www.hypnoticwritingwizard.com/

Just wondering before I purchase it. I think that my competition is using his ideas.

I am looking for stuff to put me over the top with marketing. Any ideas?

Well, I don't know about his other "products," but he sucks at marketing and advertising. He gets, maybe, 1,000 daily visitors at his own site.

    Man... THAT is funny.

    Joe Vitale sucks at marketing.

I sure hope he doesn't find out! He keeps making millions of dollars doing it. Imagine how well he'll be doing if he ever gets good at it!

I have purchased many of Joe's books.
I've enjoyed them all and learned at least a few new things from each of them.

I had the opportunity to meet Joe Vitale, Mark Ryan, and a few other prominent online marketers last summer in Austin.

If you will APPLY the information you get from Joe, you can expect to see a definite increase in business.

Insert sarcasm here > > > > You met him?! Wow, that's great!

And, um, how exactly did he make those, uh, "millions," and, where did you read that???

"Joe." Oooooo, first name basis. I am in awe. :)

Not sure what the sarcasm is for or why you feel the need to take that approach. Referring to him as "Joe" seemed to be more appropriate than calling him "Bob" or "Perry". I find it helpful to use the actual person's name when referring to them.

Sure ... I met him. It doesn't mean anything other than that ... I met him. Joe has met me, too. Your point would be .... ?

It was a fairly eye opening experience for me. Not so much in a "ooooo... I met Joe Vitale" kind of way but more in a "Hmmm... he's just a regular guy that is out there playing big" kind of way.

I didn't read that he makes millions. I'm drawing my own conclusion from a number of factors including:

    1) My conversations with him.
    2) His appearance in "The Secret" which sold millions of copies.
    3) His appearance on shows like Donnie Deutsch.
    4) His status as a Best Seller with Simon and Schuster.
    5) His distribution deal with Nightingale-Conant.
    6) His upcoming movie which is reportedly doing very well in pre-sales.
    7) His public speaking engagements.
    8) His appearance on Larry King.
    9) His appearance on Oprah.

The list could go on and on, really but a bit of observation is really all that is required. People that "suck at marketing" aren't typically found in these sort of environments and activities.

To the OP (coachp28): I think you would do very well to apply Joe's input to your business and life.

Actually, yes, they are. It happens all the time.

That list you gave, if it is indeed true, isn't impressive at all. Especially being on Oprah. If, IF he really was. She doesn't check anybody out.

I forgot his name, but do you remember that one guy who claimed he did this, and did that, and he wrote a book about it, when in the end he had lied about it?

I think that was what it was about, anyway.

    This is typical of her.

I use to watch Deutsch. I stopped after just so many lame shows that really didn't tell anything new.

Please show where it states he sold "millions."

    Link, please.

And, wanna see a list of books that are pure crap, but they made it to the, uh, "best seller"?

Not to say his books are. I'm just saying.

What movie is this, and where did you read that it is doing "very well in pre-sales"?

    And your conversations with him?

    You're kidding, right?

The bottom line is, he gets maybe, 1,000 daily hits at his own site, and his blog is, well, pretty close to being a ghost town.

A novice should listen to a webmaster who can and is bringing in thousands, tens of thousands of daily hits on a consistent basis.

Sorry, but that is the bottom line.

He may be good at other things, like getting himself on TV shows, which isn't all that hard with many of them, and giving a good "you can do it!" positive pep talk, but being good at marketing / advertising a website isn't one of them. Not even close.

If you think different, please give the tips, methods he says to use to bring in tens of thousands of daily hits.

He states this in his, VERY, slow blog: "Shhh! Here’s the REAL Secret to Attracting Money!"

So, how much have YOU attracted?

Sorry, but I do not assume things about people, just because they wrote a few books, and they have been on TV. I do my homework on people before I call them the "cat's meow."

coachp28, just buy his marketing software tool. If you don't like it, ask for your money back.

You might as well see what it is about, anyway.

Honestly to say he sucks at marketing is really showing lack of attention to his work. This guy has multiple products....he's a freakin internet millionaire for crying out loud, he holds workshops and makes bank. I would say anything written by him about marketing would certainly be beneficial to your efforts.

Show where it states he is an "internet millionaire."

What part of him getting only around a thousand or so hits at his site, and his blog being pretty much of a ghost town do you not understand?

Talk about showing a lack of attention.

He has workshops? Whoa, I'm sold.

Oh, and uh, there are a lot of "millionaires" out there who make money by...SELLING their products.

Late night infomercials are full of them.

Come on noobs, think. Use the brain God gave you, instead of using it for filler for between the ears.

And then it dawned on me .... why would I spend any time defending Joe (or anyone else) to you?

My results are the results I have experienced. I could tell you a long story about the journey I've been on but it won't really have any relevance or impact for you.

Suffice it to say that I've gone from wondering how I would buy groceries one day to running my own successful online business from home. Much of what I learned and implemented is found in Joe's books and DVD's as well as a number of other resources.

If you really want to know stats on sales of The Secret, verify Joe's status with Simon and Schuster, Amazon, etc... you can do so at your leisure. I get the feeling your goal isn't so much verification but confrontation.

Beyond that, best of luck to you.

To the OP ... I highly recommend Joe's information and systems. If you apply the information, you should experience increased success with your business.

It's no "magic button". Most of it us just good old marketing techniques that can be used by anyone with the discipline to put the steps in to action.

I already have. *shrugs shoulders* Eh.

And uh, again, those are???... Hmmmm???

It doesn't seem to have helped his site and his blog much.

You can call this confrontational, but, sorry, I'm keeping this whole thing real here. Somebody has to. There are plenty of webmasters out there who have bought such products in the hopes of getting more traffic to the point of paying their rent, only to gain nothing from it.

I think we can both agree that coachp28's, best bet is to buy it, and if he doesn't like it, he can return it.

Anyway, best of luck to you too.

That's about it. I'd love it if they would buy it ... use it ... and let us all know of their results.
