    I remember that the first time I got a computer with internet (around 95-96) I found this program called mIRC that for some reason came with the computer.After some fumbling around I managed to connect to Dalnet.I was just amazed I could talk to people from the other side of the world like that.
    Damn,did I waste a LOT of time on IRC.

    IRC was cool for Fserves, WAREZ, etc.

    Its still a very popular way of chatting to this day.
