I think there is nothing wrong with using article submission software. Most of the time the article directories don't even know you are using automated submission software. I haven't used article submitter, so I can't comment on that particular product. Just ensure that the software properly submits all information. Check to make sure that it is choosing the proper category for each website. With my experience with article submission software is that you almost have to it semi-manually to ensure correct categories are chosen. Also make note of any article directories with special rules such as lower maximum link limit, body word count requirements, html requirements, etc. Basically if your articles are all getting properly approved, the software is effective.

Some people question whether it is worthwhile to submit the same article to hundreds of websites. I do this and it seems to work, but limited submission may be more effective if you have the resources to get that much content.

These submission softwares are of waste of money and time. They dont do any good to your rankings. These don't target the keywords, rather you can go manual submissionwhere you will kno exactly what you wana do.

I have said so many times and still i am saying that Automated submissions are waste of money and time..You won't get any sort of results by them, i always believe in manual submissions..Do as many as you can, but do it manually..To be sure you will get good results..All you need is just a bit patiency...Thanks for sharing....

I almost wanted to buy one article submitter software. Submitting manually is not easy for those who have few blogs. In that case, the software can be very handy.

Would would you need one? Seriously?

You only need to submit to a few credible article submission sites to get you started. Also, top submission sites hate submission software and might ban your IP address for its attempt to communicate with their site via the software.

If your articles are good, people will pick it up. But still, in my opinion, it would be much better if you would guest blog or post the articles in your own blog and social bookmark it. You'll have better traffic that way.

By the comments above I suspect most of you haven't even tried article submission software. You are just ignorantly bashing it because you read somewhere that automated tools are bad for seo. I use article submission software and the article directories cannot tell. The software just autofills the forms for me, I verify the info and click submit. I do verify the submission info for each website that it loads up. So it is not completely automated, but it does save a lot of time.

Can you Back that up with some proof , or documentation ? I use article submission software and it saves me tons of time, and all of my efforts have been realized.

I have never seen any difference in my articles being indexed, and i have been able use it as one tool in a successful SEO campaign.

Those of you that say they are bad for SEO are missing the boat. Firstly, if you purchase a good one, they work just fine. Secondly, the name of the game is traffic and sales, not PR. You should what ever tools work to help you achieve your goal...making money.

Just remember, you get what you pay for. There are some good ones out there that actually do submit to hundreds of sites with one button click.
If you want to spend hours submitting one by one, go ahead...many people prefer it, but when you have multiple sites that you run alone...it's worth spending the money for a quality product that will save you time.

All that banning you IP address crap is just that, crap ! Why would article sites care if you use automated software as long as the article is quality ? It still have to be approved.
Your IP gets banned when you break TOS, or spam. Using a software program to submit is not against any article site that I have seen so far.

IMO the problem with article submiters are that you are submiting suplicate content, by doing this search engines are most likly to penalize your articles, this is a bog drawback because articles dont get rank well and you end up with less organic traffic from those articles.

If you could find an software that allows to submit lets say 5 different articles to different directories, this approach would be much better IMO

    hope this helps

All of the Associate Press news sites on the web have duplicate content, including CNN, MSNBC, FOX, and many, many others. Yes bigger sites, but still duplicate content.

You can only spin one article so may ways, and you only need a few to rank well, but they won't do it on their own, and you won't do it by targeting key words and phrases that are saturated of have 350 million pages competing for rankings.

You have to smart about it and fight battles you can win easily.

If you think duplicate content will penalize your article, then don't use submission software.

I get better results from manual submissions but then of course it takes more time or is more expensive than using automated software ;-)
