In key phrases you should avoid some words and generally those words are ignored by Search Engines.

a are and as be at for he from his I is in it of that on the they to this was

Less usage of those words helps to reduce the file size, and increase the speed and relevancy of the search results. As such, always try to utilize keywords instead of stop words as much as possible. Obviously, it perhaps a little more difficult to read, but it is worth the sacrifice, in the cause of trying to obtain a top search engine ranking.

These are the important points need to be focus while on Keyword Research and Analysis.

google says create website for users not se .
if you don't use the correct grammar there is no use of Seo as users will close the tab after reading first few lines which they cant understand

I categorically disagree with this practice. I believe that web sites should be built, first and foremost, for the user experience. SEO is secondary to the creation of a web site and its contents. Once you have the content in place, then you can optimize it for organic rankings. But not so far as to make it illegible for users.

Like Kodut says above -- what's the point of having a search engine optimized web site if users cannot read or comprehend it?

I, for one, will not eliminate (or even decrease slightly) the use of stop words in my web copy.

I agree with your point of view .If you focus too much on keywords then you end up with content too weird and difficult to understand and you can never get regular visitors .

The peopel arguing against this are quite right. Maybe 5 years ago, you could make proclamations such as this, and expound about keyword densities and so on, but nowadays, *you have to make it look natural*

If it doesn't look natural, it won't fly.

I will go with you. Definately one need to use stop words for users. here is an example misunderstanding if there is no stop word:

    - PSD to HTML work done here.
    - PSD HTML Work Done (If i dont use any stop word)

"Less usage of those words helps to reduce the file size, and increase the speed and relevancy of the search results."

Not true. Words are hardly burdening the file size to the point that it would slow a search engine's crawl. Not with large images, video, scripts, etc. that they need to be worried about.

Stop words and keyword density in titles and meta descriptions is a thing of the past. Focus on ontological relevance, taking advantage of "~" searches in Google to ensure your title is fleshed out with highly relevant keywords and their synonyms.

I agree with the above comments. You just can't put content without the stop words. It just desn't feel right.

And I don't think SEs will think that sites with no stop words are more valuable...

The main focus should be the reader, I try and obtain return traffic for my home owners tips site. Poor english would indicate poor subject matter.

Once again another tip that puts PR in front of all else, even though PR means absolutely nothing in terms of traffic, conversions and sales.
If you put the search engines first, then they will be the only ones that you please and you will have a well optimized cookie cutter site that will be about as informative and helpful to readers as the color brown in a rainbow, with hundreds of first time, one time visitors.

I think it's not a good idea to avoid stop words in the content. But it's possible to avoid them in the <TITLE> tag.

It won't affect the user if you put "Used Cars New York" instead of "Used Cars in New York" in the <TITLE> tag.
