Gotta love Microshits business model: The more you pay, the more useless bloatware you get. I'll wait for our beloved pirates to dish out a stripped / optimized version
I quite using windows long time ago... Prices too high, lack of security, ie7, and lot's of other disadvantages.
Yep. Microsoft is the a corporation built on greed. If Macs weren't so over-priced I would buy one and use it instead of my PC.
Congratulations on admitting to the world you run illegal software, why don't you just knock on the FBI's door next and hand them the illegal CD.
And do you honestly think that they care about 1 person? No, they don't. They care about the groups that sell these cracked versions to people for 1/2 the retail price, and bank millions doing it. Get off the white wave already, nobody is impressed by it.
+One for Luxuria. Who whould in their right mind pay for Vista Ultimate? Maybe an OEM version off eBay would be better that downloading it?
"Microsoft simply hasn't learned anything after launching Vista." Completely FALSE !! Microsoft should be praised for listening to its users, Windows 7 is build around user feedback and wasn't built just for profit ! here is a blog dedicated to windows 7: http://windows7info.net/ Code (markup): That "Paul Thurrott" guy speaks a lot of ****... he has his own windows blog, but is mainly a linux user, and only "BLOGS FOR CASH" you pay him and he will say anything i get sick of hearing people quoted as "bloggers" its one small man with his own opinion that is influenced by who pays him... i don't that its "Laughable" that Microsoft will have 5+ versions of windows 7, different people have different needs, so why not cater for them ?? it keeps everyone happy and i know for my business i wouldn't want a bunch of features build in if i was never going to use any.. Microsoft as much as they will make more money providing different versions they are doing exactly what "you and I" / user feedback has asked for. How he see's it as laughable is beyond me...
Exactly. I believe strongly in if you can get something for free, then you should do so. As long as it's not physically stealing money from one person (i.e. robbing their wallet) or causing physical violence. Oh, and to all those people who still buy music online and purchase all the software for your computer, imagine where that money could go? Furthering your childrens education? Providing more for you and your family? Hell, you best fly over to a 3rd world country and hand kids the money you were actually considering spending on stupid software which of course, programmers love creating...it's THEIR passion and my passion is USING it and eventually helping them some other way.... ...Thank the lord for piracy, hail the Queen of England, god bless America and for as hell GO MIGHTY AUSTRALIA -- AUSSIE AUSSIE AUSSIE, OI OI OI! ^ Why did I just write all that? Peace - A
I don't know why you all are hating. Windows is THE BEST gaming and business operating system. Free operating systems, Linux and Unix, are THE BEST server/hosting platforms, yes, and good for small work stations or web browsing...but until they get more driver and hardware support, Windows still owns. And Mac of course owns multimedia.
I have been using Windows 7 on a machine that is a spare. I have experience with Vista from a laptop that is not mine - but I work on almost every day. They're pretty much the same - except Windows 7 took the last remaining bit of any taskbar and then shot it. Shot it, and killed it. Additionally it looks and acts just like Vista. SOYLENT GREEN IS PEOPLE! WINDOWS 7 IS VISTA! ReactOS, you're my only hope.
every corporation is built on the same need for money. Didn't you just say Mac are over-priced too? Do you think they work for free? Wouldn't you make the best possible out of your work by marketing your product right?
It's a stupid move, if it ever occurs. I don't like it at all. They shouldn't be doing this with a very-good-looking version of W.
The whole Windows 7 looks like an upgraded version to Vista. All Microsoft should have done was released a service pack, instead of a new operating system. But I guess, they wanted a new name to overcome the negative publicity already attached with Vista.
