If you can't reveal, don't boast

I am tired of the "I made $100,000 THIS MONTH ON ADSENSE" threads where every asks the niche and it's always "TOP SECRET"! I say DON'T BOAST ABOUT EARNINGS IF YOU CAN'T REVEAL YOUR NICHE!

There...now I feel much better.

That being said, feel free to boast AND reveal.

I made $28.47 THIS MONTH ON ADSENSE.

My niche is not TOP SECRET. It is the good'ole faithful - making money online.

80% of these threads are fake. Real earners don't boast, because they don't want competition.

 

Exactly!!! And 80% is a low estimate...I would say 99.9% are BS.

 

people who make that kind of claim often are upto seeling some ebook or get more impression/clicks on their own site. they hardly have anything to share

They must be fake. Why would a person who makes $100,000 a month spend there time posting to this forum. If I had that kind of money. The last...the absolutly last thing, I would be doing with my time is posting to this forum.

Why would a person who makes that kind of money want to tell anybody on this forum about it. There would be no benefit. Tell some hot girl at a bar, yes, ok I understand that. But this forum, why?

 

It should be dont boast if you cant back it up with proof.

 

I still think they should post with proofs, it gives the rest of us a little bit more of motivation

 

Totally agree mate, and perfect way of saying it. Digital Point is about sharing you knowledge amongst other webmasters for their knowledge in return. If you want to learn, you contribute, that's how it is.

I respect the people who say, "Ok, I will be trying this niche out for x amount of days and will post back stats". People like this are important to such a big webmaster community, because they are letting others get involved rather than stating "Oh, I earn so much now and you don't -- HAHA!", well they're stupid for saying that anyway, sore losers.

I'll stick by you all the way mate, good on you for sharing with us your feelings...because at the end of the day, if you don't -- who will?

I have seen this sort of thread on other forums that I have been on, not seen much of it here yet, but then I am very new. I don't make a lot of money online at the moment, but then I have not been doing it that long, but if I did make money I certainly would not boast about it.

 

They always then try to sell you advice or some type of poorly written E-Book that tells you common sense stuff like:

" Find a good niche"
"Use good keywords"

...

Every time I see this "I made $100,000 on adsense" kind of threads I just wonder and say, "Really, then why would you not just duplicate what you have done and make another $100,000?"

 

Exactly. Real earners are tight-lipped so that their niche stays protected. Why boast when it doesn't bring anything at all

I hate such threads, If I were making $20,000 per month form adsense I'd be living in a pub not be making threads on DP.

You don't make 100k with a generic MFA (made for adsense) site that you can put up by the dozen. You need to have a really good idea, really good luck, put in really much work, or ideally all of the above.

I reached my first Adsense 100k this week (in total, not monthly of course).

 

It is kind of annoying when you see one of the gloating posts as mentioned above. Generally a look through the poster's previous posts shows what they are really up too (*cough* ebooks *cough*).
