Does it work? Are there any promotional tactics? I would think Google wouldn't allow PPC? Or is it all organic traffic and/or luck? If you make a full time income off of it, I want your autograph!
Domain parking won't make anyone a full-time income. Well, perhaps those with over 200 domains or so. Your best bet would be to load blogs with some autopilot RSS streams, AdSense & affiliate products and let it slide.
I think Google AdSense now having some function to do earning with Parked Domain as well. Using PPC by AdWords should be fine
But google do not have their own NS , so to point your domains to their PPC , its cost huge problem. Anyone who have traffic domains can try my services.

Parking is good if you have a generic domain name that gets traffic but building a site will make even more money.
parking has a value only if you have a good domain with naural traffic, otherwise the domain will cost more than the income you get.
As per parking companies' terms, you can not place link to your parked domain anywhere. You can only place this kind of link: DOMAIN FOR SALE: DOMAIN.COM
Domains can have type-in traffic or traffic from backlinks or search engines. Type-in traffic is when people write URL directly to browser. For example, I want to by used car so I try usedcars.com You can't get such domains nowadays. Best way is to search for TYPO - this means You'll by mistyped version of domain name. Like gogole.com instead of google.com You need to find high traffic domain that has some alexa rank for TYPOs and aren't already registered by someone else. Domains with PR are sort of risky, You'll need to be sure pagerank is valid. Then You'll build site with similar content and sell backlinks. 95% of Search engine traffic is lost after parking as parked sites are penalized by google. You can buy domains with traffic that are expiring every day. Best way is to buy them in auction provided by domain registrar. Best traffic domains are mostly bidded by other domain traders so You need to lucky to get it really cheap. There are no promotional tactics. You cannot actually promote a single junk-page (that's what a parked domain is) You can make a full time income if you're a parking provider. Good idea but risky. Can get banned and then it is difficult to sell banned domains, in case you decide to sell in the future. There's a more efficient way, but it is not fit for everyone.
