There is not such thing such as unlimited hosting. Everything has a limit and same applies to disk space and bandwith. What the hosts you mention are doing, is actually called Huge overselling and not unlimited.

Getting a server with 100mbps port full dedicated, gives you around 30TB to use and costs $ xxx

Ask yourself how is it possible to get "unlimited" with $5 or $10? The answer is "Impossible"

why not go to hostgator or 247-host and see how much space you can actually use before they suspend your account :)

probably 15-20 GB space if you want something that's RELIABLE and won't shut you down for using "too much resources"

as for bandwidth you'll probably get around 100gb-250gb for it to be reliable

this is only because hard drives and bandwidth isn't cheap for the host, so many hosts tend to oversell.

do you already have a website? or are you just starting out? if you are just starting out, save your money, get a small package and as your site grows, move on up when it starts to support itself. and I'd be able to help you out to get started as well assuming you are just starting out and don't have anything big established already

    Good luck though
