There is many reasons why people would take ads off their site, Google knows this, and they won't ban you simply because you aren't earning any money. The only thing that happens is..well.. you don't earn any money. One week is nothing to worry about. I think that if you have no earnings for a year or so they deactivate your account and you have to resignup or what ever, but one week will do no harm :).

Just curious. What can you do for a click attack if you arent away? Seems to me like you should just keep making your money. If someone maliciously clicks your ads you can tell them about it later.

Don't worry about this, Google can tell where the attack is coming from. You'll be going on many vacations and if you stress about this, you'll go nuts!

Also, if you are thinking of sticking another code (pub id) on the site while you're gone, DO NOT do it.

    You'll be fine!

Leave your ads in place. The best bit about making money online is that it works even if you are away. ;)

I wouldn't worry, just leave them up. I really doubt anyone would be that horrible to click bomb you even if they were, Google keep IP addresses so they'll know it wasn't you.

Why would you want to take your ads down. It seems a little odd to me. That's the whole idea of running some websites online is so that you can earn while you are on vacation.

What's different about going on a holiday for a week and going to bed. Do you take your ads down just before you go to bed and then put them up again when you wake up. lol.

Have you had any attacks yet, if not then you most probably want have any when you go on holiday.

When you go on holiday, one thing that you must never do is to tell to many people. If you don't tell them, then they will not know that you are on holiday and there is less chance of you getting attack. Even if you told people there will be a low chance unless you have enemies.

When I went to Ibiza last year, I look at my site out there and it felt good knowing that I was earning while having a good time.

Even if you remove codes from your site anyone can find your cached pages in Google and click ads.

I don't think you should take adsense off for the fear of a click attack while you are away. This is no way to run a business. You are being too paranoid.

yeah, I dont understand the rationale here either. And a click attack? How would it be different if you were around when it happens, and in the first place, how will you know when it happens? You dont have access to the ad server, right?

Any specific reason you're concerned about a click attack?
