I have promoted CB products through PPC and I now believe that it is almost impossible to make money with that marketing strategy. I took the few CB products that returned a positive ROI and promoted them with all my efforts. Now I realize that they are not the best products on CB. I went back and put a classified ad out for the 500 most popular products. The sales are popping up like popcorn. This data is extremley valuable. I use a stat counter and am focusing on the number of sales per click. The moral of the story is: Use a shotgun approach and then pull out the rifle.

Classified ad for 500 different products? That would take a helluva a lot of time. What classified ads service did you use? Did you just pinpoint brand names?
You CAN make money promoting CB products using PPC, absolutely, it's not easy and it's not for everyone, but there are people making thousands every day just using PPC, obviously if you have the money to do it. Someone said once: "Why waste time and effort building links, writing articles, looking for traffic if you can buy it....?" P.S Not my phrase Cheers!

Yes it takes alot of time. I use macroexpress for repetative tasks that are not worth my time. "What classified ads service did you use?" HAHA, All the ones I could find. Even my own free ads forum and blogs. I went back a few days later to see which of the dozens of ads ranked highest in Google and use the top 3. Of course to do this test I had to use the same title in every ad. I won't tell you the top ranking ad just because that would create direct competition and thats not good for business.
Yeah.. I use USFreeAds already. You can definitely get high rankings with that but I don't seem to get that great of conversion rates with it (in comparison with other landing pages.) Craigslist I don't work with as it's considered spam to post online stuff on there, innit?
I wouldn't use either of them. That is kind of wrong strategy of advertising. People go there to see real ads, and see what private sellers got for sale, but not like affiliates promoting some crappy products...
