Link building idea

If you have a PR+ blog you can display the latest referrers to your blog to encourage people linking to your site, so that their url appears on your homepage when they refer to you. Just a thought...

 

Perhaps suggest some various anchor text youd like with those links above/below that "list" as well.

Not a bad idea you have. Seen all sorts of entrecard widgets that do a similar thing for that service. For the droppers etc

 

Are you talking about trackbacks? I don't really get your meaning here. How we earn backlinks by linking higher PR sites from our site.

Yeah, kind of trackbacks, but displaying the urls on your homepage with a dofollow link. It can display the latest or the most referring websites. (I'd choose most referring)

Let's say you have a PR4 homepage, if you implement this, people will refer to your site in order to get a PR4 backlink from your main page and probably more than %80 of the reffering urls will be dofollow links, so you'll be making both backlinks and traffic at the same time.

 

And if they don't link back to you then you're wasting a link...

 

No he would only be linking back to websites who already link to him. This is basically just a link exchange. So you would still have to be wary about linking to bad neighborhoods or spammy websites. I think some people would tyr to abuse it and remove the link later.

Ok. I understand now. Let's say for example I have a PR4 blog and I give a link back to a PR0 with dofollow but I gain only PR0 dofollow backlinks.

Something does not goes well with this figures. Sounds like we are spending more than we earn. I don't think this is a positive link building idea.

No, you're going to gain way more than you spend. The code will show a certain number of most referring websites, lets say 10 of them. Then you'll be linking to the only 10 most referring websites. Somethin like this:

1stsite.com (854)
2ndsite.com (456)

They'll need to beat the others to have their url to be listed here. Of course, this will work better if you already have a high PR homepage. I mean, your front page should be something worth the effort.

For the others concerned about abusers, a referrer banning could easily keep them away.

 

yh u said it. but blogging is little diff idea same like make a site and promote it and after get BL from it.... but if get any good subject to share is good and will get many clicks

 

I read this thread twice. Really confusing or i m out of mind. not able to figure out the benefit.
