    Hi guys,

    I just got an e-mail today :

I think I'm the most honest person alive... I never encouraged ANY visitor to click my ads, I never did fraud.

    How can this be ?

This happend right when my payment was pending (but not yet sent). It was supposed to arrive today or tommorow I think.

I just can't believe it.. I'm stunned.. Each day I fight this all over the web, educationg people, and now my account gets disabled.. For invalid clicks..

    Not possible......

Wow, I'm shocked to see an established member of DP having this problem.

Could this be some sort of payback for starting a thread about the person that stole your content?

    Yesterday my stats were OK...

I didn't had Internet until 5 minutes ago .. So I do not know what happened with my account in this timeframe...

I can't check stats also.. My account is disabled.

It's possible that that guy attacked my ads... But I can't say nothing concrete about that, because I really do not know.

I would suggest writing to Google and explaining the issue you had with the stolen content. Make sure to include the URL of the blog containing the stolen content, along with the URL of the "Stolen Content" thread you created.

I have ads on a LOT of websites ... How can I know what server logs to check, and what to look for ?

I can't see any stats in my Adsense account .. It's disabled.

I already sent an email Bandfield .. Not so explicative, but I tried to explain that I really didn't generated any invalid clicks.

That is unfortunate, do you stats show any clicks on any sites that you've been paid $0 for?

Posts like this make me shudder, especially from an established DP member.

This what I would do :
    - grab all your server logs immediately and go through them in great detail. Search for things like frequent loads of the same page by the same ip. (Does pressing the back button generate a pageload ?)
    - Report your findings in a polite email to google. Let them know about your thread where you exposed the person stealing your content and everything else that might be suspect.

Does your internet connection have a fixed IP ? I am just thinking that if you use dialup for instance you have a different IP on each connect. When you check your stats google obviously stores your IP. Say another person on your ISP got the IP you previously had and clicked your ads a couple of times then google might think it was you.

    Hope you get reinstated soon.

Im shocked too that this would happen to someone whose credabilty is solid.
If possible perhaps you could ask google to either give you access to the adsense for a few moment just to check which stream/channel the fraud is from...

or perhaps ask them to look it up forr you and tell you which site generated the hits... then you could check up access logs and build your case...

i too suspect the guy in the stolen content case...

You are in trouble right now.
First of all put any other ads on your website like YPN if possible.

And then you have to analyze your stats in greater detail to find out uneven things.Did you notice any high activity since last 60 days ?

Because Gooogle doesn't ban immediately it takes time to confirm things.

Normally, I think people are way too paranoid about click attacks, but I think that considering your recent situation, it is the most logical explanation. For those who don't know what I'm referring to, take a look at this thread:

I think I had one day about 10 USD income from the Adsense for search... usually it's 1-2 USD per day ..

But yet again, I NEVER encouraged anyone to click my ads, let alone me clicking on them.

You guys know .. I take every moment to tell people that that's BAD.

So sad to hear that. I saved myself yesterday when I found my earnings went up crazy. This is what I wrote to google:

I received the following reply today:
    So all good :)
I wish you get your account back and next time be in contact with google and use adsense tracker to keep track of everything.
