Is the Recession affecting your online earning efforts?

I haven't noticed any decline at all in profits. If you are marketing products or services that help people earn more or save more, then you can't go wrong. There are more people looking for ways to earn additional income now than ever before. Peace.

 

I think it is already having an affect on people who relay on adsense as an income. Less people have jobs = Less webmasters investing money on adwords = less money for people who run adsense.

 

I think online businesses are pretty much recession proof businesses if you know what you are doing. There are several arguments for that claim.

 

That can be expected in a slow economy... Debts are what drive resessions.

Nope, not at all. My earnings are even a bit better now compared to this time last year.

One effect I've seen is the recession seems to be bringing more people to the Internet, looking for ways to make money.

 

Luckily my products are based on making money in the stock market so lots of people are interested in that now...and sales have skyrocketed!

When(or if) people get fat and happy again my sales will probably return to normal.

 

I write professionally online, and one of my main clients halted everything. In that regard, the recession did affect me.

But my traffic earnings have gone up. Not enough to replace my main client, but it's better than nothing.

My earnings aren't that big so I guess that I wouldn't mind loosing a few bucks.

 

My earnings have actually gone up since this "recession". I think most of the decline or rise in income has most to do with what niches people are in.
