You can submit your articles in article submission directories like Goarticles, ezinearticles etc. Search this forum and you will find huge lists about article submission directories.
Article marketer is a good place that will submit to several sources, but you have to pay. I find Ezine Articles and Article Dashboard gives some good results.

People have different opinions. I am going to be doing a case study on this here in the near future. Generally, I don't like the idea of having the same article spewed everywhere unless your sole purpose is to get backlinks. My thinking is that Google doesn't like duplicate content. It may hurt your ranking more on the article in general, than just to have it on ezinearticles. We'll see though how it affects the traffic.
