Where do you host your site(s)?

Hey all, im new to the scene. Just wondering where you all host your site(s). How much bandwidth is needed? I know there are many cheap "unlimited" bandwidth hosts out there, but are they genuinely good? I mean with uptime and all. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

Use Godaddy. It's cheap and has everything you need to start a new site. You can always upgrade later when your site grows. And next time learn to post in the right forums.

I apologize. What section should this go under? I wanted to specifically ask adsense webmasters.

LunarPages and MidPhase are both reliable and fairly cheap.

Web hosting really has nothing to do with Adsense. Go with Godaddy. It'll cost you under $10 for a domain name and two months of hosting. Their Economy package is more than enough. And as mentioned, should you strike it rich and the site explodes, you can always upgrade to a higher hosting package or move to another host.

I'm with dedicated now, but that's because I need my own server.

Also there is no such thing as "unlimited" bandwidth, if they say they have unlimited bandwidth they are telling you a lie before you even signup. The only thing that comes to it is unmetered bandwidth, but you pay a good bit of money for that.

ASmallOrange and FrozenWebHost are both great hosts i've seen before.

I use GoDaddy but recently I discovered 1&1 hosting it beats GoDaddy in every package at like 20% less.

    What about midPhase: h**p://midphase.com/html_files/plandetails_prophase.php

If it's truly unmetered bandwidth, that seems like a decent price to me. Or is there a catch?

It does in the sense that I was hoping to get information on bandwidth usage. Thanks for the advice.

The newest info I was able to pull on them related to bandwidth is

    http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?t=505528&highlight=midphase

You'll see a midPhase staff member even replied to it. If you PM me your requirements I'll give you space on my server for a good price. I have cPanel so managing your account is easy. Legal content only.

I recenty moved to a dedicated server as I can do whatever I want on it. The shared hostings are sometimes quite limited
