Article submission, good or bad?

Hello, i recently wrote an 1800+ word article on 18 best ways to make money, i wrote it for my money making forum but read that sub articles to ezine is good as it has high PR. However i also read that google doesn't like duplicate articles, will my forum rank suffer even though the article was on there first if i also submit it to ezine?

I don't think the odd duplicate article will matter but I wouldn't submit it to any more sites, especially sites that re-submit the article to other article sites so you end up with numerous copies of the same article. I write separate articles for each submission, generally on the same subject but all written in different styles. It takes ages but I hope it will be worthwhile. Could you not split the article up into four separate 500 word articles?

Yes there is a high opportunity that you can get some PR juice and traffic from ezine if you submit your article.
But you no need to submit the exact the same article, you need to modify a bit the article then submit it to ezine

try to target some keywords in title and article body.. You will not see article traffic results instant but in long term it will give you some good traffic.

That is a pretty long article why not break it into 3 articles (part 1,2,3). You will get more author resource box exposure then.

you'll get the most 'bangs per buck', if you make it unique each time you submit it.

I would also break it into 3 articles and make sure you make each unique.

Duplicate content isn't such a great idea. It would be best if you rewrote it before submitting.

Well ive actually taken it off my forum and submitted it to ezine, i'm going to make it even longer as some things are missing like affiliate marketing. I'm then going to make videos for the 18 ways and put them on youtube. I will then make exclusive videos which will be shown on teenstalkmoney.

The duplicate content issue won't affect you if was published on your site first and google indexed it before you submitted it. Rewriting articles is even better as it will be unique to your site.

    Good Luck

People read the article and want to know more so they visit your website. Also people will submit your site to social bookmarking sites which you will gain extra hits.

What's in your site, stays in your site. Write something new for your other marketing campaigns.

It's funny coz I submit each article to like 10+ directories. I thought "the more links the better" is the main principle, but apparently not?
