    Hi,

Few days ago i got offer for one of my domain Pizza.am for 855$ & he paid to escrow.com now all i need is to transfer it to his Godaddy account which is ..I investigated about this domain QNIC.com & it is associated with xybererotica.com which had hijacked 80 premium domains. It also hijacked HZ.com, details are in Page 19, Page 22, Page 47 of http://72.14.235.132/search?q=cache...cam&hl=en&ct=clnk&cd=1&gl=in&client=firefox-a
now it is restored by the owner.

So the problem is can i trust him? However Godaddy is not allowing the changes in "Whois" details. He choose the identification period for 7 days in escrow.com . If i transfer my domain to his godaddy account is there any possibility that i can reverse [My domain is in Godaddy too] if there is any fraud detected ...[or what is the maximum reverse transfer period?]

If has hijacked 80 premier domains, why should you give a try? You should not transfer your domain to

Well, just don't push your domain until you receive the money.

He used escrow.com to transfer the domain. Many people say escrow.com is safe for both buyer & seller. I just want to know is it safe to transfer domains to a hijacker through escrow.com?

He himself asked you to send via escrow am i right? and you are also pretty sure that he is a hijacker..this means that he knows a way to dupe people using escrow in one way or the another so why take the risk?

He maybe a hijacker but he paid me through escrow.com but i will receive money only if i transfer the domain to him but i'm afraid a bit dealing with a hijacker.

Have you ever find any difficulty transferring domains through escrow?

Everybody thinks it's secure, I never used escrow, I always use paypal and of course for trusted customers. He would probably found a way to get the money back I guess otherwise it'd not be a hijacker behaviour to send money by escrow service, as I told you If I were you, I'd not take any risk, I would keep the domain, of course $855 may sound good for you, may be you'd not get any offer like this later, or may be you'd :)

    looks "iffy" to me.

personally, i would have more of a "conversation" with the buyer first. SOME EMAILS, maybe a phone call etc.

little things in conversations can sound alarm bells if you listen closely. LISTEN CLOSELY.

    go with your gut.

i say KEEP IT this time. (just my opinion)

    GOOD LUCK

    This is how it goes.

    1. Buyer send the money to Escrow
    2. You send the domain to him.
    3. If both of you agree that everything is fine with the transfer, Escrow send you the money.

I think you are fairly safe with escrow, however, Make sure that you make screenshots of the information in which you transfer the domain to him. Properly document the whole transfer process, so that you have proof that you made the transfer. Because If there is a dispute, you can submit your evidence to escrow and they will determine who hasn't met his side of the deal.

then how can people assume that escrow is secure, after sending the domain, the guy can change the whois as to old whois, or can open a dispute! And since he is a hijacker then I believe he gained experience on that  so it's really risky
