I had this same problem, using a default WHM/cPanel install on a Centos VPS. The issue was I didn't have my SSL certificate setup properly. In fact, I'm actually running a self-signed SSL cert right now, as I only use SSL for WHM. Try setting up a certificate, (self-signed is fine) and make sure the common name is the same as the URL you're trying to hit.
I would say there is a very limited to almost non-existant demand for SEO services on proxy websites. Most big proxy owners already do it, your average proxy webmaster won't have the funds for it and newbies are usually only after a quick buck. The majority of proxy websites here sell for under $50, which, after deducting domain and possibly design expenses leaves a little profit. You may get a few customers interested in it but I doubt you can build a reasonable business around it. Remember proxy websites typically have an appallingly low CPM even when they are heavily developed. In the proxy site numbers game it just doesn't pay to outsource SEO. I'd say you are better off investing your time writing articles on this topic that help everyone and even building your own websites to rank for these terms. You should also remember that many of the top ranking proxy sites have held those search ranks for years - it's near impossible to budge them.
Are You sure that all your sites have been accepted? Do you've build ads for all sites? How much traffic do you get each day (UV)? Cause Canep is a very good way for me to get good earnings. So i wonder why this is a waste of time for you ... Canep Media banner is in my oppinion the Second Way to get earning from your proxies, after Adversal popups. And my third position earnings is from adsense. Try to answer yourself to the previous questions i've asked and search what is the problem. Surelly it will help you.
Don't be sad. Last time they used to approve my application and it take up to 15 business day. I suggest you email them to ask them about the progress of your application.
Thank you for your feedback. I do agree that it would be a selected bunch that would be interested in the services however the selected few after a while may turn in to more after they realise it is profitable. I would be offering SEO and an adsense optimisation service to maximise earnings from the proxy sites. I am currently looking at packages and prices as I want to make the price feasable whilst ensuring I make a slight profit for my time. Some of the main proxy sites for the main keywords may not move with out an unrealistic amount of SEO being done on the site however there are so many keywords around proxy sites that you dont need to target the main proxy keywords. I have done keyword research before and found excellent little competition highly searched keywords. Thanks again
The chances are that they will find out some time, and then they will ban your account. I think you're better off using Bidvertiser, atleast they pay more
im using bidvertiser and with 22 clicks ive made $18.77 which aint too bad considering its my first month of launching .
why would you go with adbrite they pay every 2 months via cheque atleast with bidvertiser you get paid each month via paypal.
i left that long ago go with mediashakers , adbrite , adversal there are some few other adetworks are there but getting approved is bit difficult
adversal are not open for new registrations.. how is with mediashakers? are they allow ads on proxified pages?
willyboy104, I am very interested if you can provide me with hard data, i would like to see some examples of things you currently rank for perhaps along with what it took for that to happen. ETAs if possible of things you could make me rank for along with a break down of cost. But whats to stop your first customers being very happy (Me!) and then once the job is considered done you target the same set of "easy" keywords for every other customer effectively pushing me down and paying for nothing? If that wont happen does that mean after each customer you will have to charge more because you will have to go after harder keywords? Get in touch please if you are serious.
