Yes and it's amazing to see that we have 7 top seed players in top 8 which we not seen many times. I can say now real tennis started and we could see atleast 2-3 5 sets matches.:D

    Roddick despatches Djokovic

The difference this year is that Roddick is not the best player in the world by anyones opinion

But he is fit, has toned off 7 kilos in the off season and in the Melbourne heat it is paying off

Djokovic struggled with heat and fitness and had to retire in the 4th set when behind 2 sets to 1 set and behind in the 4th set on the games count

Something was not right with Djokovic.

Under normal circumstances, the match wouldn't even be competitive.

Well Novak Djokovic looks good so far but not in this match as Roddick took the control in the match by 2 sets to 1 and 2-1 in 4th sets. Also I am watching big match between Safina vs Dokic. Safina won first sets but Dokic comeback in 2nd 3-1 up right now.

Unfortunate for Dokic as she knocked out from Australian Open after losing against Safina in 3 sets, she did return in second but not won the match. She lost the match by 4-6,6-4,4-6.

She did fantastic. The match was really on her racquet. In the end though I think she just made a few too many unforced errors. But it was a big ask beating the #3 player in the world.

Yes you are right and specially when Safina playing his best tennis. Indeed it was a great game and anyone can win it but unforced errors of Dokic make the difference in the match!

It was an impressive performance by Federer, but Nadal has been just as impressive. It will be an awesome Final.

BTW did you know Federer got 2x more aces then Roddick? I found that hilarious :)

Yes you are spot on, this two plays over 4 hours and it was a match which we Tennis match waiting, although last sets kill the game, if last sets goes to tie break then Roger might come out as a winner.:)

Even I expected Federer to win this final....and was counting it as probably his last.....The way he cried, it was heart breaking to watch and he also probably felt that it was his last chance at it.... :(
