Your content is playing a main role in SEO so you have to concentrate on your page contents.

Page contents should be related to your website and it provides the useful information to the visitors.

If you doing like this your bounce rate will reduce gradually

The problem is the content. The content should be related to the homepage, also links to other pages from the homepage will help those PRs.

May be your inner page content is not as good as home page thats why your bounce rate is high. Also start link building for your inner pages to get backlinks and PR.

seoanalyzer1.. I am pretty new to SEO. Are you saying that its a good idea to actively build links to inner pages as opposed to the home page ?

Opinions on link building strategies vary, but as a general rule, I do work harder to build targeted links to specific pages on a site, rather than try to build everything to go to the main site. Find a nice balance if you can.

First of all, you should always practice that when building links anchor text should target your webpage that is relevant to your keyword. For example:

    Keyword:Selling Flowers
Target Page: Product page with a list of flowers that you are selling.

    Keyword:flower Delivery
Target Page: Contact Page of your website

    This practice minimize bounce rate.

Improve the content of your inner pages. Contents are factors to make your visitors stay longer in your page. Add some images if possible.

I have a question, do you build links for your sub-pages? if not, then don't wonder why you have no pr on them. :) Bounce rate depends on several factors, if your visitors don't like your site content or design, it results to high bounce rate percentage, that is not good for your site, IMHO.

Bounce rate = 1 / relevant content to keyword

It simply means, as much as your content is relevant to your keywords, bounce rate will be low. If your content is not relevant to your keywords, you will have more bounce rate. So make target those keywords only which are relevant to your site subject and content.

PR is nothing to do with bounce rate. It all depends on the relevancy of your content and services..:)

You have to check the content in those page whose Bounce rate is high, whether it is relevant with your site's theme or not.........and update your page according to your theme so that bounce rate will be getting less....

Yeah, i think the problem is with your internal pages..In some cases it may happen, if your home page and internal pages are not co-related..The bounce rate may come into picture, to prevent this you have to work out on your internal pages..Thanks
