What Web Services do all Webmasters need?

I have come to a little problem. Well actually kind of big. I have a bunch of debt that I need to get rid of and was wondering what kind of services I could provide to start making money while helping others. I was thinking about starting a paid web directory simply so I don't just ask for money but offer a service if you understand what I'm saying. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I don't think web directory will be good idea coz the niche already saturated plus people will not buy paid link if your site is having PR 0.
What i suggest you is go to major freelance site and look for project such as content writing, coding etc.
You can surely earn more than 1k/month.

I would start a blog on "How I got debt free" - and keep track of the steps you take, as blog posts. That way you can work on helping others with debt problems too, and they can comment on your posts and help you as well with ideas.

I like the How I got debt free blog idea seeing I am trying to get rid of my debt and sounds like a way for me to learn as well.

Also what kind of freelance sites would everyone suggest?

better to provide service in DP then bidding in freelancing websites.

some of major freelancing websites are
getafreelancer.com. elance.com, guu.com but I never take part in such websites coz we need to work for very cheap and they are over populated

Yeah I looked at a couple freelance sites but most people bid very cheap. I might get into directory submissions but I don't know much about it as of yet since I'm still new to some of it

Definitely directory is not the solution Google has cracked down on the paid directories and they are no more valuable as before. Blogging is a great idea lot of my friends use blogging in part time to earn from adsense. They get a about 300-400 $ per month from google adsense.

I expect my directory site wouldn't be a good Idea anymore but I do think directory submission service would actually be a good route seeing lots of people on digitalpoint are still looking for those services. Also building up a blog that would earn that kind of money from adsense could take awhile

The freelancing sites are saturated with people converting the dollar to weaker currencies hence able to bid quite low.

Dp is a good starting point . If you master the art of link building every wemaster needs more links
