Cheapest hosting with dedicated IP?

I want to go with a dedicated IP for a new site. I'm thinking of going with the Hostgator Baby shared hosting account with the $2 dedicated IP addon for a totall of $11.99 a month. I consider Hostgator mostly reliable and that price reasonable. What do you think? Is there a cheaper yet reliable alternative?

 

Well, I am having a hosting company myself so I will of course have recommended my own, but actually I do think any other hosting company may be more responsible than HostGator. While HostGator do have so many customers they wont care if one, two or hundred customers become unsatisfied.

 

Thanks for the reply. I have had a shared hosting account with Hostgator for years and overall I am happy with them. I don't think there is the "perfect" hosting company for everyone, but I would love to hear of some alternatives with a dedicated IP just to be sure.

I am using godaddy hosting and i am very much satsified from it and it is also cheap.

 

Go for hostnine.com, they provide free dedicated IP address with their middle plan. Their services are great.

 

Our cheapest plan is €5.25/month with a dedicated IP, though we are based in Europe which might not be what you are looking for if you are from the US (I can't find any location info in your profile ).

I'm renting 2 dedicated servers there, and they allow adult.
I have a bandwidth limit of 3000GB, and 2 times, I crossed this limit by 1500GB.

Normal they charge like 0.25$ extra GB, but they just 'letting it slip' because i'm a good customer
