From your experience guys, when selling a domain on sedo is it best to set a price or leave it to say "make offer"? Also can anyone recommend the best place for a FREE accurate apraisal?

set an amount you can accept. a min offer. Or not you'll continue to receive meaningless lowball offers

Just set an amount you'll be happy to accept.

Ok thanks guys, one more thing, if I put a domain up for sale on godaddy (where I registerd it) AND sedo and I receive bids on BOTH sites, will this cause me trouble or is it best to just list a domain on 1 site? (sorry if it's a silly question im a newbie)

It's always best to list a domain for sale on as many sites as possible, unless one site has fine print that forbids it.
Most sites permit this. Anyway, Sedo does not obligate you to sell even if someone hits your listed asking price.
