Easy, if you have 10 visitors per month and 8 of them are from search engines, you'll have 80%.

Seriously, how do you expect an answer? SEO is a large topic and there is a lot of stuff to read, including here in this forum.

 

helloo buddy thanx for your humble act now listen i get millions of visitors but i wana increase my search engine popularity i m not getting traffic from search engines i get monthly 1000 or 1500 to my site so 8 or 10 of the visitors are from search engine and they came from by finding the keyword like nokia iphone etc i have lot of content in my blog

Include some images to each of your post while posting and give appropriate name to the images so the visitor will come from Google Image search. If you put an image of laptop in your post so give image name as laptop not abc or something else.

When people search it through Google image search it will find laptop image and from there it will reach to your blog/website.

There are many more tips that you have to study.

content in your websites is unique? If yes, try pick relevant keywords for your websites. after that try submit in directorys (pr directorys must be pr>3).

 

If you have a lot of content on your site and they are unique, then ou really need to further work up and first set a target and then get to it. You have to optimize your important pages in the website. You don't get traffic from search engines that clearly indicates that your site is really low on rankings. To get higher rankings, start link-building and gather back-links from good-quality relevant and related sites. Comment on blogs related to the niche of your web-site.

The bottom-line is that if you want to feature on the search engine rankings, then make your presence felt to the search engine bots by adding your links to as many quality sites that you can. You can also try on-page optimization if its not done properly.

The original source of your content appears in search engines, you don't.
That's how it should be.
To do better in search engines you need original content.

 

Actually 85% of my traffic come from the big G for all my sites, Live and Yahoo hardly send me any even though I have good positions on good terms...

 

In order to get a lot of traffic from the search engines you have to rank high for keywords with a good search volume.
You can find such keywords using services like (in no particular order):

However the higher the search volume for a keyword is the tougher the competition is. Unless of course you're lucky enough to find some crazy traffic keyword with no competition but that's not realistic. So there is a trade-off between competition and search volume. Don't waste your time optimizing for keywords with little to no monthly search volume obviously.

Yeah true that, the trick is if you are stuck in a very competitive industry, many times they are stuck only being able to go for broad competitive keywords for their pages because of how over technical their sites are. Grabbing all the "less demand" less volume keywords can be very effective for "slipping" into a profitable industry and grabbing the low hanging fruit. I have done this with a couple sites and it works well...

Choosing the right keywords (targeting keywords with high search volume or using keywords that are mostly searched by many people) is the initial strategy on getting high traffic from search engines. And if you are well-versed in building links and your keywords are in good ranking in serp, this will really increase your organic traffic. However, targeting competitive keywords is too much difficult and requires a lot of hard work and patience.

 

Just do your SEO daily. Don't expect that it s that easy.

 

If this is true, and you get millions of visitors per month, why does it matter that it doesn't come from a search engine? Are the millions of visitors you have per month not converting?

yeah... you must do some research with a targeting keyword after that you can have some extra targeting traffic to your site too...
