    Today is the first day of 2009 by the tranditional Chinese Calendar.

    2009 is the Year of OX!

    Happy New Year to all the DP members! :)

    Wish everybody a good health and more bonus.

    the tranditional Chinese New Year is also known as the Spring Festival, it's very imorptant to the Chinese people, people here will have a 7-day vacation, and it's the family reunion time.

    finally, nice meeting you here in DP, DP is excellent, so are you :)

    It means Double Happiness. I have friends from HK and they're always putting that symbol everywhere. I think it's used mostly for weddings, but it's the only Chinese symbol I recognize, so it will have to do for New Year too :D

    Happy New Year and Australia Day (whatever that is) to all new Australian citizens from China/HK/everywhere else :)
