OK, I developed this for a friend of mine because it's a AWESOME domain name. http://ethylester.com/ I'll put it into contex, Ethyl Ester is a common name used in esterfied nutritional supplements. I wanted to test my knowledge and skill with this and see how I can do to bring this to the top in SE's. The most popular, by far, is Creatine Etyhl Ester. Currently it's just articles I've gotten from around the net and product descriptions, but it will have all original content as he finishes the articles up. I've gone as far to create subdomains for each of the products, use <h1> tags for product names, <h2> tags for article titles. I did this to try helping him boost his supplement stores business. I understand that the content is unoriginal, but I'd like feedback on my on-page SEO and layout design. I really like it, I think it came out great
I would make the homepage a little more exciting More importantly, you need to fix the Glutamine Ethyl Ester link in the nav bar. When I clicked on it, all I saw was your source code.
dunstan not the best way to get to your 50 posts, you should read the rules! your reviews need more content and it is more than obvious you are simply contributing in order to boost your post count. Now for the site. Well the content could be quite useful I wonder wether you could use the domain for something more fun going with the Ethyl Ester idea. The site looks informative but will only capture the dedicated who are looking for the information there as it is not exciting or eye candy ridden enough to trap the normal browse on, browse off visitor
Make the index page vertically longer to match the length of the supplement pages..it's way to short and unattractive. Needs to be more eye-catching. Maybe add a photo of a bodybuilder or a supplement bottle..just something. Remember, most people don't go past the first page. The other pages with the supplements are ok, but the index page has to be spiced up.
On the Glutamine page I assume? Yeah, I'm not sure where that problems coming from. Firefox it displays code, IE it displays a working page. It's really a hard topic to "spice up". I put it together just for SEO, capturing certain phrases specifically. I know it's going to need a lot of work, maybe a CMS system to keep pumping in articles or at least LIST the articles. Wonder if I could modify WordPress to do that, super simple engine -- all it'd have to do is include the posts in the content area. each subdomain could display a different category. EDIT: About earnings, I'm not running YPN on there -- so it's just a landing site and something to build a little more link power for myself.
