Has Internet Marketing become a respectable profession as much as Accounting?

I mean not just accounting but also other professions and career paths deemed to be normal like banking, Broker, project manager.

Is there any big company explicitly recruiting for positions of Internet Marketer?

 

We already have such business areas as ecommerce, etrading, eloading, etc.
By internet marketing, would you have any other particular commodity in
mind?, i.e aside from those that we already deal with in DP?

 

i don't think that you can compare it to a profession like an accountant because many people just don't understand how the whole internet business work. therefore they are afraid of it and do not respect it like a normal profession.

Answering your question on companies recruiting prof. Internet Marketers: Yes they are doing it more and more. They need them, not graduated guys that never saw a web browser except for porn.

 

I agree with you scubita I agree that many industry now need ,an internet marketing although it is newbie or entry level seo,I have that job my self now.if you want to know where the job site or recruiter please PM me,I think DP is forbidding kind of promotions here

 

I think it is.

Many companies now are recruiting people for the post of marketing to promote their products and services. One such company is IndiaMart.com and I think they have their branches in almost all the major cities.

Last year, the marketing guys contacted me and also visited my place with their marketing proposals.

 

Depends on what you are marketing. If you are selling clickbank products, then I'd compare that to a shady used car salesman.
