http://content.usatoday.com/communities/theoval/post/2009/01/61847002/1 Matt Drudge would never overstate anything, of course. His top headline right now is certainly an attention-grabber: "President takes on Rush Limbaugh in new media war." The story Matt is pointing to was put online last night by the New York Post. It says a White House official confirms that during yesterday's meeting with Congressional leaders from both parties, President Obama told the Republican lawmakers that "you can't just listen to Rush Limbaugh and get things done." Does that sound like a "media war?" Meanwhile, Rush spoke at length yesterday about what he meant when he said he hopes the president "fails": "Speaking honestly, I mean look, people are misunderstanding this, Snerdley got a couple calls from some of his buddies last night, 'What did your boss mean, he wants the president to fail?' "I remain dumbfounded at the high degree, the high level of ignorance that there is out there. If it took a Drive-By reporter, Jim VandeHei of The Politico to finally understand this and to try to get the Drive-Bys up to speed on all this. "But I just want to say, folks, look I support Obama. I just don't support his policies. I support our president, like I have supported all presidents. I just don't support Obama's policies. I don't support the nationalization of the banks, which has happened. I don't support the nationalization of the auto companies. I don't support the nationalization of the mortgage business. I don't like Barney Frank and Chris Dodd running things. And I don't want that to continue. "But I support our president. I'm like anybody else, I support the president. I just don't support the policies." So how is this all going to end? Comments :-
Flushed Limpballs is a national joke, here's a guy who's addicted to pain pills and pushes a hard line on drug enforcement, ridicules other people's appearance despite being a disgusting whale, takes pride in his monstrous ego, and made his career attacking the best President since Kennedy. Now he wants to bring himself back by harassing the Obama administration and teaching his army of robots how to do the same. They would do best to ignore his loud farts.
Rush is good when your in the mood for bad comedy . What he needs to realize is that after 20 years the world is really laughing at him not with him lol.
Limbaugh is an ass but I think the lefty media who are infatuated with Obama are blowing Rush's comments out of proportion. On the other hand, that is one of the things that Rush is really good at. He knows how to push buttons. Probably the reason he fell into a opiate addiction during the Bush administration is because being Rush during a republican administration just isn't that fun. With Obama's popularity as high as it is, Rush's own popularity is bound to surge. He'll just be too good at pissing off Obama followers to not get attention.
Obama is giving conservitave talk shows a LOT of material for their shows! You know you're doing something right when the president tells congressmen not to listen to your show!! Obviously Obama doesn't even know that all he's doing is actually helping Rush. Rush Limbaugh for President in 2012!!! You know you're addicted to Rush Limbaugh when your youtube page looks like this!!
hehe, Democrats are funny about these kinds of things. On one hand, they totally bashed Bush on anything he did, whether good or bad and was pretty clear about how they felt about him. They thought of themselves as being patriotic. When Rush does the same thing, he's a terrible American. Listen, I don't care which side of the fence you are on on this issue, personally, I'd rather not see anyone bash the president or hope he fails. I don't like any of that, and never will. I hate when people are two faced about it though.
