I was wondering if there is a good way to get links to my blog?

I have good reason to believe that there are a lot of undiscovered blogs out there. Are there any good ones I should look at? I love reading blogs.

The best way is to place your link as many places of quality as you can while using text anchor links to try and rank for certain keywords relevant to your niche. I found it to be very effective to achieve high rankings in different search engines.

There are tons of good blogs out there. Something like 128,000 are created each day... good luck surfing through that. The good ones rise to the top of the SERPs.

Link building should be a daily routine if you want to get a steady stream of traffic in. The only way to get on page one of Google is to build quality backlinks.

Here are 3 tips on getting backlinks to your site.

    1. Get links from Decent PR websites (PR3 and higher)
    2. Vary the use of anchor text
    3. Don't build links too quickly

Well, if you have a popular blog online, and manage to continue writing high quality content pages with unique text phrases and stories, you will gradually gain natural links since the blogs already are enjoying the pinging services and so, indirectly letting the world know of the updates and content pages.

I would tend to agree... I think you need to look at the big picture, and relevancy. For example a page on "Marquita Jensen" will not count as relevant. What is it you are trying to get done and what is your strategy for getting that done? You can get back links from blogs, but when I do it I'm mostly linking to my home page. In your case an interesting store that's relevant could work too, I've had about a 20% approval rate being quite polite and cooperative. You should have many different methods linking, for example a forum signature counts and is great for getting a simple link, but is not going to count for a lot. If you use the same sig link you will probably look like an ad to the SE's and not get any credit.
