Proud Muslim, I have a problem with any belief/person who has a problem with me being a Muslim.

edit: I think there is an error with the poll, it allows the same person to vote more than once, I am afraid I voted 3 times because of this.

Hmm, I did not have that problem. Maybe your connection was slow, and it allowed you to send multiple votes.

Agnostic here. If I can't prove one way or the other, I can't say one way or the other.

I use to be Christian until I studied the World Religions. They can't be all right and the newer ones just stole from the earlier. This is why I guess it is all about faith. Most modern religions are paternal and was basically created to suppress women who at one point in history the center of all religions. They are also more used to control people that to make better people.

@KS, geez that is scary, you having your own religion! I bet I know who your goddess is! ;)

    Hey allout

The great thing about having your own religion is that you get to choose the rules instead of having someone else do it for you. You are probably right on your bet! But then again it might by the Flying Spaghetti Monster.

Isn't "Pagan" (I assume you meant that by Pegan) defined as the "people worshiping gods than the official one/s"?

"pagan" has been used so much as a stereotype that most people aren't aware of what it really means.

In reality a "pagan" was just a country person. There was no common religion or practices. Later on the Catholic Church began labeling anoyone who wouldnt follow them a "Pagan". At that time a pagan was any "infidel" who didnt belong to the so called one true church. As time went by the word became associated with everything from tree huggers to satan worshippers.

An actual true pagan today does not necessarily have a religion and generally dont even believe in a Satan in the first place.

well, subtracting 4 votes from the muslim category (by his own confession imad voted 5 times), the actual results are:

    Pegan...... 1 ...... 1.4%
    Agnostic ...... 6 ...... 8%
    Atheist ...... 44 ...... 62%
    Christian ...... 7 ......9%
    Buddhist ...... 0 ...... 0%
    Jewish ...... 2 ...... 2.8%
    Taoist ...... 0 ...... 0%
    Muslim ...... 10 ...... 14%
    Hindu ...... 1 ...... 1.4%
    Other ...... 1 ...... 1.4%

So, those who have significant doubts about religion make up 70% of the users of this forum.
