What other choice do you have? :)

I've seen approvals in 2 or 3 days, but don't get discouraged if it takes longer than than.

In the interim, keep working your site - you'll notice extra Googlebots in your site during this waiting period anyway - wow them ;)

It also took around 24 hours for me. This was about 2 or more years ago now though, so it could have changed now.

When we applied for adsense 4 months back surprisingly they approved us within a day. It depends on various things such as total application they received, quality of your website etc. we thought :)

Patienty is the key. If you were not accepted by now, Monday probably is the D-day :)

Just a note regarding your site: I'd convert the content casted in images into real content pages ASAP. AdSense picks up relevant ads for your site after the bots get to know what's about on each page, but for http : //www.geocities.com/yameen_brown/faq.jpg for example there's not much to "read" for a bot.

Welcome to the AdSense "club" and good luck with it! ;)

Brown - have you heard back yet? Let us know when you do just for FYI. Hopefully you're continuing to work the site and put some of the suggestions to use.

I applied on a Sunday afternoon. It took about 30 minutes or an hour for me to be approved. I was pleasantly surprised. It took about 3 weeks for YPN to approve me.

well, i've been rejected lol to no suprise.. I think i forgot to read the TOS, and thanks to reading this forum, and all the suggestions to the site I came to the conclusion that it was not up to par so to speak.. so I am starting something with more of an appeal to some of the people here, and in my university.. and also, I am designing it in good old html lol, so it will be quick and pain-free! i will also be posting my site again for further advice.. THANKS to all of you people, you have been great!

Pure html is not the best option. It is best to build a site using html, php, and sql languages.

If you don't use them then it is always best to use some sort of server side programming language like Perl, ASP, etc.

    That's absolute nonsense!
Pure html is just fine if you have a small site that does not change too much. PHP, Perl, ASP do not help you getting approved in Adsense faster. It's the content that counts.

I guess patience is the virtue. Though they are quick but they get just too many requests, and they need to verify things as well. So, waiting period of 48hrs shouldn't hurt. Again just my 2 cents.
