Portugal will have to manage something out to replace those players...

Let's see what Scolari will do but i tell you guys one thing...If Portugal play with an heroic atitude like today, England is going to loose...;)

    We'll see. :D

We have a team and good players...England only has "good" players. :p

Even those who doesn't play will influence the payers against England.

    Go PORTUGAL!!!!

I've been watching soccer on German TV as well, and the level of patriotism over there is getting way out of control. I hope to God the Germans will lose against Argentina. Even Franz Beckenbauer, one of the best soccer players of all times, has cut short an interview the other day, because the reporter kept putting other countries down and wanted to talk about nothig except that Germany is going to win without a doubt.

Germany have looked good, but nothing special. They've not actually come up against any good teams. They can only beat the players that are put in front of them, but I still think they'll be found out when they play someone good.

The Swedish team choked completely, they were prolly intimidated by the crowds. Hope that Argentina will go for it and win - even though I'm seriously concerned about the safety of the Argentinian fans in Germany should that happen ...

Wonder hows the match between Australia vs Italy. Any commenter? I can't see the match. Anyone can suggest good site where you can see their match live. Beside the Yahoo. I remember there is one site can actually show dot dot moving around on the field. Dunno which website is it?

Italy vs Australia (One of the screenshot, word on it not true)

Aussies have a right to beat the hell out of a referee! It is just not a right way to be thrown out of the championship. I can't believe refs are so damn bad. Like they have never blown a whistle in their entire lives... Too bad for Australia...

OK, Materazzi didn't deserve a red card but what referee did to Aussies was unbelievable...

I'm lost for words. One of the worst decisions by a referee I have EVER seen. Italy win 1-0 against Australia, won by a pathetic penalty that really shouldn't have been awarded.

We were cheated, once again. Well done ref.

Sorry I was watching it on TV and didn't look at the forums. Both sides were equal until red card for Materazzi. It definitely wasn't deserved. But Aussies didn't also deserve to lose in 95th minute with penalty kick which was simple simulation...
