I use plain Notepad, Gimp, ImageForge and IrfanView, all free programs. I never liked the way Dreamweaver creates websites, and Photoshop is too costly.

I've been involved in the online marketing industry for 7 years and through the years I've realized that the look of a site is completely dependent of the end user, I've seen sites I absolutely hated the look of become massive and sites that were a killer in usability that didn't succeed. So I have to agree with innovati People are the one and only deciding factor if a site makes it or breaks it.

This is somewhat true for those who do not have css capabilities. You can customize the default templates of Joomla and have your own custom design. Technically, you are right.

If I could design my own Joomla template I would be much happier, though. :)
I am not a graphics person, and that wont be happening soon.

you can make any kind of script or style sheet from it.
