Ahh CB outages seem to be dampening the results. That kind of sucks.

    No,

I have not abandon my FX campaign. Currently I am pushing near a 30% refund rate.

Therefore I had to adjust my CPC and lower it to allow for refunds. I am down to about 28 cents per click in the content network and holding steady right now at about 2-4 sales per day.

I've been working like nuts launching my new business www.successcopilot.net

There seems to be a sweet spot in relation to CPC and the quality of sites your ads appear on in the content network. I noticed at 45 cents per click I was doing 4-9 sales daily, I decided to increase my CPC to 60 cents thinking I could take over higher positions and get more sales. The opposite happened I managed 1-2 sales daily increasing my bids. I then dropped my bids back to 30 sends and guess what, I am back to 2-4 sales daily now.... again seems like a sweet spot.

That's all for now will keep you posted.

My CPC is approx 30 cents. Yes, target the highly sought after keywords in search and you'll get crushed.

I am going to spill the beans here. The only people you see on those keywords like "Forex Robots" or "Forex Automated Systems" ect... in Google are the people who created the program. It's not sustainable with a $80 payout to bid $1-2$ per click on those keywords... and I know b/c my quality score for those keywords are 10/10 in Google and I still couldn't beat them.

The creators can throw their affiliate program out there on those keywords because they have an army of affiliates promoting their products therefore they can manage the budget, and not to mention if they personally make a sale, they are making more than $80.

Sure if I made $130 per sale, I'd be way ahead of the game, but as an affiliate due to the low payouts we are already at a disadvantage in the market place competing for keywords that convert.

Those keywords again in search are about $1-$2 per click and converted at about 1 sale per 15-20 hops depending on the day. Given the refund rate, it's just not worth it. Stick to content and shoot for 15 cent clicks.

Refund rate is 23% to this date... I know I mentioned it earlier, however I projected a refund rate of 25% getting into this. It could go higher, only time will tell. However it just means making adjustments and finding other keywords that convert and keeping the CPC below 30 cents.

Those refund rates are ridiculous. Are buyers given a certain amount of time to request a refund?

LinkSales, why I constantly see guys who have 3-4 years account and still don't know such things. Usually it 60 days or so, you can find it on CB sales pages.

Don't all CB products have a 60 day refund time anyhow?

Great Thread so far. How have you're other affiliates been doing? Did you convert on the Doubling Stocks program yet?

Yes, I converted on doubling stocks program pretty well. I just honestly haven't had the time to tweak my campaign as I've been launching my own products www.successcopilot.net

In fact in one of the DVD's I documented this entire thread and my journey from $0 per day to nearly $500 per day in sales in clickbank.

I only started promoting CB products to ad a completely step-by-step documented DVD series as part of our entire product package. I'll continue putting out new DVD's and continue documenting affiliate marketing.

As soon as this thing is launched I will turn my attention back to the fx products and I'll continue tweaking out my doubling stocks.

    So Far....

    Fx Turbo *Success
    Doubling Your Stocks *Success
Wow related products *Some success, just not enough time to tweak
    Rocket Spanish *Fail
    Maverick Money Maker *Success

It all comes down to marketing.

I take them to a review page that reviews FX funnel and FX Turbo. It's a nice little authority site that gives a detailed review of each product.

I also believe this can be done through a simple pre-sales page geared around just one product. Maybe the 2 product reviews just gives them too many choices.... this is at least worth a test, however I've been converting and if it's not broke don't try to fix it right?

    Update: Jan. 25th

Sales are coming back. 6 total so far today from PPC, more specifically the content network. It's holding true that there is a sweet spot in terms of cost per click. Again I thought I could beat my record sales day of 11 on Jan. 5th by increasing my CPC to 80 cents. This only cost me more money and I converted a lot less. There seems to be that sweet spot in and around 30-45 cents per click in the content network. Needless to say my bids are at 47 cents per click right now.

Our new business launches this week, will be tied up with that.

**Article Update: I had a writer write some FX articles for me, but I have to tell you I've been so buys I haven't even had time to submit them and they are actually pretty good. I was paying about $6 per article. I am just about to outsource everything, the writing, the editing and even the submission process. I want it to be completely hands off as I don't have time for it.

when you say the content network, what are you referring to? you are putting ads out there that lead people to the articles you've submitted to article sites?

Because some of us focus on building quality sites that attract huge adsense bids from people like you who play the Clickbank casino.

    Theres your answer.

Clickbank Casino lol this thread is great and should be a eye opener for people who cant seem to make it work.

Since reading this thread I have focused more on the content network, and am getting over 400% return on my money and at 100/day on the content network.

    Thanks

And you can even imagine how much you probably made if you were in this casino instead of adsense circus:)

Nice thread, you must be finding some sweet keyword phrases out there to get steady traffic but still such low cost for clicks. All the "good" words that I find don't even show cos there aren't enough searches for them says Google. I don't suppose you need more reviews and would provide copies for your new product, do you?

Your information is really great and helpful. I have a question about your use of the content network.
    Did you:
    1. set up your ads to appear across the entire content network blocking out unwanted sites?
    or
    2. Go with placing your ads on specific urls and sites that deal with forex related topics?
    or
    3. select demographics? I dont really see how a demographic selection could help really.

thanks and good luck with the new launch.

This is pretty interesting thread. I'm glad despite the hiccup initially you still soldier on. 11 sales per day is great. Keep this thread going pal. I've learned a lot here.
