Hello everybody, I heard about BANS from one of my friends, and he told me that you can win some good money if people will be the objects from your site. Does anyone use BANS services ? License is 97$ and I want to know it is a profitable service.
Sorry, but I don't understand your post. BANS is a "Build A Niche Store." It's a store / website development platform where you can create content based sites that makes money, mainly through eBay affiliate programs. Can you clarify? Or am I just not reading your post right?
BANS is a company who is was developed since 2006 as I saw on their website. They have some platforms from ebay products which you can sell on your site, depend on the sells you will receive your money. My friend told me that he is earning around 500$/month, and he is in the 6th month of activity.
Well, if you have a friend doing this already, why are you asking us? I have never used them, or any platform like that. If I did, why would I pay them, when I can get a site, and have such businesses, like eBay, offer me help for free?
I'm not sure about them, but i saw that on DP is talking about them, for the affiliate programs, i'll take a look there for more info. Thanks for your answers.
I think you are confused. BANS is a website script to build ebay powered stores. You don't sell anything. You just divert the traffic and Ebay pays you affiliate commissions. It can work if you put in a lot of time to it. However, Google has been penalizing these sites for a while now, so you have to figure out where to get quality traffic for cheap.
cscarpero is right... you need to put a lot of time into promoting them and writing content, which is difficult to do for a storefront-style site. Google has in fact been hitting these sites awfully hard. It's becoming very difficult to get these sites to rank for major 2 and 3 keyword terms.
I've been using BANS for a while, and while I've had success with the sales, I've noticed that Google in particular, doesn't like them...Read this for some more info. http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=1188665
I've also had success with BANS, but was banned from EPN...I got re-instated and EPN told me to delete all of the BANS sites I had that were underperforming. Moral of the story...if you want to start making these sites, make one or two sites that have a lot of effort put into them, instead of 15 sites that have little effort. Don't even put up a site for the sake of getting it indexed and working on it later. That's the mistake I made.
That's odd that they would tell you to get rid of the under performing BANS sites. Maybe it was just a condition of your re-reinstatement to the program. I have several BANS sites that I don't really do anything with, but I haven't been told to remove them, so who knows.
Using BANS can be good if you can find a good product and create a good BANS site and as long as your account is active, there shouldn't be any problem.
