I need a cover design for a cook book. Go to this link for the cover picture and some examples of what I'm looking for. http://www.freezerdinner.blogspot.com Title of the book is: Dinner on Ice Subtitle: Easy family meals to make now and eat later. Author: Betty Strangir All this needs to be on the cover. Hints: this book is for families looking to save time and money by making freezer meals that taste good. It needs to be clean, professional, eye catching..like a magazine cover. Colors: Be creative. There are lots of colors to pull from in the necklace Jenny is wearing. Dark purple shirt, red food, dark blue jeans. I can email you a picture with more white space if needed. Prize: $50 USD to the design winner. Payment: Payment will be processed via Paypal. Last but not least, I reserve the right not to choose any winners if none of the entries meets my criteria, but most likely, this won't happen. I am very interested in getting this book cover finished. Let the contest begin![/QUOTE]
I actually need it to be 300 PPI (Pixels per square inch). Does that answer your question? If you use 300 DPI, it will print too grainy and too color blotched.
This is my first service i offered to in this forum. plz reply and rate it. rating is what i consider give me out of 10. thank u.
Thank you for the feedback. (images look somewhat pixelated because they were resized to fit better the view)
Hi ajandersen, thanks for the feedback. I will get to work on that and have something for you shortly. I will also change it so that it has the corrected size, which should make it easier to make the title stand out more. Cheers...
Thank you for your work. I'm wondering if you can have all the focus on the model. Right now the ice berg is winning all the attention. Also, please inlcude the authors name on the cover: Betty Stringer
Let try getting rid of the swirl all together. I like everything else..authors name placement, title..colors.
Thank you for your work. It's looking good. I like the background color, I like the authors name on the bottom right side. Will you try another font for the title? Something not so bold and straight..lets explore a few other options. Also, can you zoom in on the model. I think I am liking from the elbow up on the model rather then the whole body. Thanks again.
Thank you so much for your work. The background is a little too busy. Please try something more clean, and simple. I really like how you closed in on the model. Good idea. Thank you!

Wow, I like this one. Nice work. My one complaint is the added word in the subtitle "super". Is there a way to make it look good in a design sort of a way and leave that word out? Just "Easy family meals to make now and eat later." Also, could you extend the white outline around the model to be a little thicker...maybe blend more into the back ground? Right now the model looks like an angel the way it is highlighted. I would like it to be more of a gradual fade from white to the purple. I really like title and the placement of the authors name. Sweet job. I also like the faded stripes of purple shooting out from the model. One more thing, will you try one with a close up on the model from the elbows up? It seems to be more eye catching...her eyes demand that you look at her.
