i think beliving it or not.. it depends on the your sourrounding and parents as well as from which country do you come from usually, as far as i know Asians and especially indians belive in horoscopes quite more if i am not wrong
i don't believe in horoscopes and those that claim they know how your day's gonna end... or what will happen to you in the future... but i do believe in astrology, in the sense that your astrological sign... does indeed represent your personality. it's not always 100% accurate, but if you really read your astrological profile, there are things that they say about your personality which you yourself will agree is true. Like the fact that scorpios are emotional... librans are social... etc.
I dont believe in horoscopes but I beleive in Astrology. I do personal forecasts for myself and they usually turn out to be true however the ones in newspapers are just too general and vague and nver true.
Cuz we ALL know tthat librans are not emotional and scorpios are NOT social right? Come on. Everyone exhibits every trait under every sign. The date you pop out has no bearing as to how life is gonna turn out. Astrology is just a way to give losers an excuse as to why their lives suck without having to try and make it better.
Its not just about people born under a sign being a certain way like a virgo being really fussy, it is also about each planet and its aspects, in what sign and house the planet is etc etc. Like, Im Virgo but i do not match the traditional descriptions for Virgo but if you look at my birth chart, the positions of the planets and signs are quite explanatory.... I know I need to shut up.

Each person has a unique chart that shows the position of planets and signs depending on the time they are born and the location they are born. The positions of planets and stars change a lot so even twins would have different charts, your hcart is very unique to you. Your sun sign is just where the sun was when you were born and it doesn't always tell a lot about you, only looking at the full chart and how each planets and signs and houses relate to each other will. Your chart is basically just a circle divided into 12 houses and it maps the sky at the precise time and location you were born. So, your personality can only be defined by looking at the whole chart not just the sun sign (which is what most horoscopes are) Thats your personality, predictive astrology takes the map of the sky right now, for a day, week or month and sees how the positions of the signs and planets and the houses relate to the signs, planets and which house they are. And that is astrology, even much more than that, horoscopes that you see in the newspapers are pretty much useless. An astrologer looks at your chart, signs, planets, houses, their degrees, if they make any shapes with other places in your chart, current transit, how it effects you etc. I know its quite confusing to look at first, infact, even a lot of psychics and "newagers" try to run away from astrology because it involves a lot of thought and consideration (when done properly of course)
I think this is true. The horoscopes in papers and magazines for mass consumption are a load of rubbish, but done individually, that's a different thing altogether.

As Sri Lankan, I strongly believe in horoscope. Horoscope is not just prediction. It is a result of complex mathematical calculation. You can prove that horoscope is meaningful using mathematics.
Are we talking about the same type of horoscope? Here is my horoscope for today: "Don't push any farther right now. You've already done everything you can for now." How is that a mathematical calculation? I'm amazed at how many people said they actually believe in horoscopes. I'm pretty sure fortune cookie writers write horoscopes in their freetime

whether you believe it or not, its up to one's decision. Horoscope can be your guidance in everyday life or simply giving you thougths and options in your day to day activities. we all have our own faith and beliefs. So, its up to us if we will rely to Horoscope or do our own thing. Many people rely on horoscope in their everyday lives. Others believe what’s stated in their horoscopes, others don’t. Some people would like to know about their horoscope just for fun. Different people have different point of views regarding this. But at the end of the day, it is still us who knows what to do with our lives and make decisions for ourselves.
