Hello everyone I wanted to open this topic because of one big reason. The reason is the reality of selling products in Internet. I have been fighting for ages to get some sales and my best sale was that I sold one product from Clickbank and I don't remember what it was. I succeed to sold it two pieces. Now I always feel furstrated because of selling. I have noticed that how much I advertise and optimize my ad I don't get ever any products to be sold. I just don't get. I don't know reasons why I fail to sell but no matter how much I advertise I won't get a one piece of product to be sold. Now I want to ask your opinion and help. How I can succeed to find best way to get products sold? If someone helps me to get sold products 1000$ I will give him/her 100$ because of his/her help. I promise that.
you see, here is the problem. You have to be rich in mind to become rich in fact. You sound like a poor guy who always fail. Bottom line: if you don't believe in your success, why should someone to?
how long have you been marketing your products? optimizaing sites and ads takes time. however if you want to have faster results you should go for PPC.
Becarefull with PPC. You can lose the shirt off your back if your not careful or don't know what your doing. As far as sales are concered. Here is a tip. Sometimes it doesnt matter how or what you advertise if your product is not HIGHLY Related to whom your trying to sell too. You need HIGHLY targeted traffic to get Sales. Do some research and come back to us. Also we may be able to help you more if you could give details on the types of advertising your using and your methods. Hope this helps.
Well, for starters, you are going to have to advertise. If you do not want to do that, let your domain expire. Second, what are you mainly trying to sell? Third, what does your site look like? If it looks like crap....
Interesting . . . the answer to your question about why you're not selling is contained within your last 13 words there, and nobody who posted in this thread appears to have seen the answer. So I'm not going to tell anybody the obvious answer to your question because it also appears that most people don't read the thread responses and they will all miss my excellently explained and superbly written answer anyway. What I will suggest is to read a few books that were written by real marketing and sales experts who have successfully marketed real products to the public, not Internet "sales experts" who claim to be earning fast & easy money on the Internet by sipping Mai Tai's and watching MTV while their computer programs automatically deposit huge quantities of "Money for Nothing" into their accounts and they get their chicks for free. Ha!
It would be good if you knew what you had successfully sold. If you did, you could focus on that product and others like it, since they *may* be a better fit for your traffic. Can you look at your records and find out what products they were?
Okay, let me tell this. First of all about reading those ebooks, I have done it. I have read ebooks from famous people in this industry, like Michael Rasmussen, Ewen Chia, Rob Benwell and Michael Cheney. I have applied exactly those same methods but still they won't help me. Secondly what I use for advertisement are follow methods: * PPC * Advertising on my website Thirdly I have seen so many ridiculous ideas that has been "successful" and they have been repeated by so many affiliates. They grab the old idea and add tiny update, still it sells. The only thing that I can think to be successful with is by writing an eBook and selling it or providing membership which has useful materials. The only reason why I haven't done this is that I don't know how I can provide proof that this is good selling idea.
You are not even answering the questions or giving details on what you are doing, and yet you want help? Well, ok, then. By the way, those guys you mentioned are not famous. Where in the hell did you get that idea from? They only have around 1,000 or so daily hits. ... If that many. Also, Robert Benwell is a scammer. Part of your problem is you believe in such guys. What are these ideas? And, how do you know they were successful? There are a lot of morons here who swear by signatures. They say it is successful. Uh, getting a few hits a day is not successful.
What kind of details you want? Those things that I have said is about generally any kind of product that I promote. I want to thank you for telling me about those guys. I even didn't know that damn Rob Benwell is scammer and I just wondered why his products sounds little bit fishy. I have been then quiet stupid to believe their proofs in their product website, for example earnings with ClickBank. Those ideas are for example: * Dog Training * Quit Smoking * How to Blog Please suggest some eBooks that are worth of reading. I don't want to waste my time with those people.
If you can tell us what you are trying to sell and how you are doing it maybe we can yelp more. It's hard if we don't know anything about what you are selling.
Actually, the formula of successful sales is simple: Traffic * Conversation = Sales (Money!). For example : if you have a website with 1000 unique daily hits and average conversation 0.01% and if you make 20$ per sale, at the end of every month you will have $6000 in the bank. If you have a website with 100 daily uniques and 10% conversation you will end the month again with $6000. If your website don't sale just increase one of those conditions. Either the traffic or the conversation. It's simple actually.
There are a few questions you should ask yourself before you ever develop a website. Does my product have a market? (Keyword research will show, are people looking for this product online?) Does my product solve a problem (Define what the problem is by thinking of who would want to view your website and buy your product) Is the market in a place where I can be competitive? (Research who your competitors are, can you compete from a price and demand standpoint, etc.) If you answer No to any of these, you will likely fail. Think of this comment: "There is a reason why no one buys toilet paper online"
Lokki, You are using PPC right? Adwords? Remember that PPC is a science. And you MUST respect the beast or else he will destroy you without any mercy. How are you setting up your campaigns? How are you tracking your ads? tracking your conversions? Getting your list of keywords? tracking your keywords? etc...?
Marketing is not about YOU it's about YOUR VISITORS. You won't make any money until you get this through your head and figure out how to provide a solution to their needs/wants.
For you who ask the product that I want to sell. I don't try to sell only one product but many and they differ, however they are all subjected to internet marketing, especially for affiliating. Eurisko, yes I'm using Adwords and PPC. I noticed that I have only one thing that I have forgot, is to track which keywords converts best. But when I place ad on Adwords, I try to write very catchy ad which has lots of keywords that are wrapped and each keyword I will set specific cost. I found one way now that I'm implementing and let's see how I success with it. I will tell you later on when I have something important. I think I will write later on unique eBook and let's see what kind of results I get.
