    Dear Resident Bush,

Thank you for making me ashamed to be an American. Thank you for making an entire generation believe that democracy is a farce.
Thank you for proving that Viet Nam was not the stupidest war the US could ever get into.
Thank you for quadrupling the price of oil and helping destroy the American economy.
Thank you for the shameless lies, the election fraud, the war crimes.
Thank you for dispensing with the bill of rights and defining national security as more sacred than national liberty.
Thank you allowing the destruction of the environment, for stifling dissent,
And for that dark, dark feeling that we are under thumb of people who don't care about us at all.
Thank you for the dark dawn of the millennium and making our nation the butt of all the world's hate.
But thank you most of all for not making us drag your criminal ass out of that house,
That you never deserved to occupy,
And at least let us have our choice to clean up your mess.

I have a feeling that this would never be approved as a comment on the aforementioned website. :D 100% of the approved comments are "real thank you's" there, not one negative comment.

I thought this thread was a joke at first. Bush is a crook and a criminal. If you don't believe it, history will show you; just wait a few decades...

Its about time we get over Bush. If you hate him let it be. He's out of office and now we can look to Obama to save our asses.

Is this a joke? It can't possibly be real? Thank the worst President of all time? For what exactly? Trashing the constitution? Getting our country into unneeded wars? Being a ridiculously incompetent President?

If it's an elaborate joke then it's well done because it actually looks serious.

How long did the pubs keep Clinton around to blame anything and everything on? Give it some time, sheesh. It's been ONE DAY.

You know, it's sad thinking that if Obama just does an "okay" job, and doesn't completely clean up Bush's mess, then he'll be criticized.

After the bush years, I've got a different standard for presidents.

    Obama:

    - Please do not let the market suck up 27%+ of my investments. Even in my portfolio doesn't shrink, that will be a step up.

    - Please do not engage in "pre-emptive war" on faulty intelligence by using words like "slam dunk" to get our support.

Actually, there was a longer list, but if he can focus on these two things then he'll be doing a better job than his predecessor in my eyes.

You've pretty much managed to do that all on your own.

I can very easily see opinions about Bush changing years from now when a lot of things are declassified. I believe a lot of the motivations behind Bush's most consequential decisions were intelligence reports that most of us aren't privy to.

Horrible president but definetly very funny to listen to him. Provided me with many laughs. BTW hes one of the reasons why the globe sees Americans as idiots.

none the less pretty hilarious. Too bad the shoe didn't hit him, I wonder how he would of reacted if it did hit him?

Since when is the president responsible for your investments? I doubt you would/were give/ing credit to Bush for your market success from '01 till the end of '07. But he sure gets all the blame for '08!

Take responsibility for your own bad investments.
