How many times you have been Banned ?

Unfortunately that is what has happened with a lot of the better members here.

 

I never have but I just signed up a couple of days ago

Not yet, would hate to be banned as I spend lots of my time here.

Getting banned isnt always about the rules. Some MODs will ban you because they dont like you, because they are having a bad day, or for whatever reason they may fancy. I know this for a fact because I was recently banned for 7 days when I did not break one rule.

TikTok expressly said that I could post a request for the addition of sparkly glitter to the DP logo (yeah funny I know) and when I did I was banned for 7 days! Not only that, it was a 7-Day Buy/Sell/Trade Ban with which my post had nothing to do with.

This is not a complaint and I do not say that all MODs are like this, there are some great MODs here, but there are also some who shouldnt even be a MOD at all.

For thse who may find this hard to believe - Here is the actual notice I received:

It really was not that bad of a suggestion! DP could use an update to its look. Maybe the mod who banned was suffering from visions of their childhood when their mother dressed them in sparkle things and sent them to school to be beat up by bullies. It was pay back for all those beatings.

 

Or because they are inexperienced. Lord know's we've all seen examples of that.

With only 28 posts? What did you get banned and sign up with a new name or something?

 

Most mods here (i think) are those who were the early users....so shawn wanted mods...and they being the starters of the forum got the opportunity....and now shawn doesn't even visit the forum once so he has no idea what is happening here....he is just happy about the money that keeps coming.....

 

Banned once for 4 months..

 

Some users gave me a negative reputation for comments they didn't like on their thread. When in return i gave them red reputation i was banned for a month. This is not fair

 

i haven't ban (yet). I hope not..
Maybe because i rare to post in DP. Most of my time in DP is looking for valuable info.
And i came in the right place..

 

What better way to run the forum into the ground then by banning users for nothing.

 

Maybe that is the intent.

What would you think if a member were banned for a year just for calling DP a hellhole - And the reason given was "personal attack"?

 

I'd think someone with mental issues was responsible. That or mummy never hugged them.
