Dreamweaver

    hey when ever i try to edit a file in dreamweaver it does not come out right i handcoded the stuff...how can i make it appear right? do i have to insert my style sheet or anything?

    Dreamweaver is heavily site based so make sure you set up the site folder so it knows where the style sheet and the root is.

    DW will add code. Not as bad as FP does, but it can scew things up all the same. If you give a more specific example it might help peeps to give you a way round the problem.

    well i add open up index in dreamweaver and dont know how to import style sheet or folder or anything like that so i can edit it properly can u tell me how plesae thankx

    you didn't handcode the stuff, you're trying to edit someone else's stuff. :(

    To view pages with CSS , download the CSS file to your PC. Style sheet files have "CSS" extensions and you will be able to find them easily.

    Right click on the CSS Style Sheet Panel (Right side panel) , select "Attach Style Sheet" option and attach.

    Now you will be able to see the CSS effects. Certain elements like images may still be not visible because they are present in your online folders.
