I just bought article marketer, they submit your article to 4,000 directories with one click... I kind of jumped into it without looking into it fully... Some people are going on about the duplicate content thing... Some say that most of the backlinks I will get will be from low PR sites and could hurt my SEO chances?! If any of you's have every used it I would love to hear your success / failure stories... Thanks, Fergal
its not a good idea to submit the same content on 4000 article sites. if you have a new site, you might end up getting into a sandbox. some practicing this 4000 submission strategy got dramatic drop in SERP result for a while. i would suggest you to submit to few hundred articles sites at the most and if you cannot submit unique content, then atleast submit spun version
Duplicate contents will not hurt Google rating, should read Matt's blog. What Google does, with duplicate contents, is to consolildate link juice to the most authoratative site, and then only display that in the search results. When Google talks about duplicate, it's about duplicate content penalities within the same site.
You do not get penalised for submitting the same article, it can yield really good results, however you do indeed have to be very careful for new sites.
thanks for the info guys... It looks like it is ok to post articles to multiple directories as long as you dont put the article on your web site...
I used them a while a back and good results. My backlink count went way up and visits from google did as well. I got traffic from the directories and from sites used the articles too.
