Submitting a website to free web directories is think very time consuming.
It takes too much time for listing moreover when times comes for listing, these web directories gets paid and reciprocal

    Don't you think so.?

Not that much.. :) It only take some time before your site gets approved. But other than that, I can't see any problem with it. I suggest you focus to new established free web directories, because they approve pending request quickly unlike old ones.

Take 15 minutes every day and submit to web directories. You won't miss the time, but you'll be happy with the results in 6 months.

it is time consuming but I make an effort to spend at least one hour a day to get 1 or 2 links per site. it seems very small but over time it will add up significantly.
