I have a website which is on a share hosting plan.

I find that my site is being gradually deindexing from both Y! and G

on both G and Y!, the index page of the site has been deindexed (index page is not there when I use site:domain.com on G).

And the site will not be in the first few if I search domain.com on G.

Today. I use a tool to check other websites on the same IP. There are totally 42 sites. And I have check about 30 of them. Apart from some sites which are not indexed (I have check whether they have been deindexed or they are just new sites). Only one of them is not suffering from the same problem as mine.

Did any one have such problem before?

That IP could be flagged as being a source of heavy spamming or a link farm in the past. I would switch hosts and obtain a totally new IP.

Yes. I think I will switch hosts. I have finally check all the 42 site, inlcuding 2 of mine.

Only 5 of them are without problem on both Y and G.

Any site that I actually care about the rankings and long term traffic I have hosted on its own ip. I use hostgator and for just $2 more every month they will host your site on its own ip.

I agree. This is only way for long term projects.

yes, look for some other good host
Why don't you try for Dedicated IP ?
You would be the single person to use that ip.

Purchasing a dedicated IP will stop your problem, as has been suggested. Did you change anything else when you started getting deindexed?
