Hey I'm trying to gather up some basic information, if you all wouldn't mind helping me out :)

    • What do you expect out of your hosting provider?
    • How much space & bandwidth is important to you?
    • Depending on what your expect above, what do you think is a fair price to pay for this?

Thanks guys, if you all could just answer those few questions for me :)

1 .... in my oppinion ... the host must be on a very fast server, Linux.
2 .... bandwidth as much as possible, space... 1GB its ok.
3 .... and for these above ... a price of 5 - 6 bucks will be good for every pocket.

    Cheers.

I expect my sites to be online when I want them to be online.
If I do have a problem, "A response within 24 hours" is unacceptable.
I currently occupy 5GB and use about 20GB bandwidth per month, I am allocated 10GB and 400GB so I guess I am paying for more than I need.
I currently pay something like $3x.00 per month (I pay yearly VPS)
The space to me is not as important as the speed, when I have to wait 10 seconds for a page to load I know I am not on the right server. I pay extra just to know that I am on a server that I am not sharing with 10,000 people.

    How much would I pay?
If I could get all that is mentioned above I would be willing to pay up to $35-$40 a month (support tickets would have to be answered in less than 2 hours).
