Nope. It's ice on a silver car. The parts that look like the "microorganisms" are actually the spots that don't have ice, and those are filled with water droplets instead.

    Kinda trippy, isn't it!?

^ You have ice on your car!?! I guess I shouldn't be complaining about a mere 13 degree celcius here

Thanks for the conversion! But damn that's cold. Never experienced anything close to those kind of temps.

yeah! though I should tell you, it's not right out of the shaker. I dissolved a bunch of it and when the water evaporates, crystals form...it regrows into different shapes...most of the time cubes
I should setup a slug drag strip and time-lapse them :-P
    those are wicked!! very impressive!!
stop bogarting the cold! jeez, it was 80 again here today

Do you have a science lab at your house?

That would be awesome! Dew it! :D

Thanks! I bow, humbled before the master...

Gah! 80? I'd be crawling to hug the nearest a/c vent. :p

no, but that would be loads of fun if I did. I would def have to get a microscope setup if that was the case!

I'd need something to put them on though, flat surface....that would keep them contained; I don't know what would be good for that.

    hee-hee, you good eye!

no doubt, I was like what the heck!!!

    more salts (sorry VB)

Get two planks of wood and create a track...wouldn't be hard. :p although that would make it a bit hard to film them...:(

This was last spring. I need to create a better setup this year, maybe a bird bath? Cooler bird feeder?
Maybe I could combine the two and have a birdy swimming pool, with a bar in it :-p

that would make an excellent TLV! although the camera is not sensitive enough to shoot in the dark very well.

I actually bought a zapper BUT it said you couldn't put it within 10' of a house or whatever....how am I supposed to plug the darned thing in!!:confused:
